My son is now in Boracay

Boracay - An early morning shot of one of the beaches. Have you seen Boracay? Well you should.

This is his first time to see Boracay Island. Just like all first-timers, he could not help but be amazed. But he is missing us. This morning he sent me this SMS :"This is such a beautiful place, I wish you and Dad were here with me". I thought that was sweet! My son is 25 but still my baby after all. How about you, do you miss your loved ones when you visit new and beautiful places? As for me, there is nothing like being with your loved ones when traveling. There is nothing like experiencing beautiful places with your family. Do you feel the same way?

Hello salonga Wow! Boracay! Fantastic place. Your son is so sweet. He always remember his Family when he is far away. Actually I also feel the same way. I miss my parents, sisters, brother and I wish that we could travel altogether. Last May I also had a trip with my colleagues to a wonderful island. I remember my family and I wish they are also there.

Boating toward Boracay - A short boat trip to reach Boracay Island
You are just as sweet litvillegas! What you felt during your trip in that wonderful island is the same as what my son felt. He wished that I and his Dad were with him and its the same kind of longing that you experienced actually. So next time, bring along your family so you will enjoy your vacation more.

It is lovely that your son is enjoying Boracay Island. I miss my mom and sister when I go off traveling. I miss my two dogs too and they are usually looked after by my sister. I go traveling overseas with my disabled son in a wheelchair and my daughter. I send emails to my sister saying about our trip and asking how everything is at home.

It's good you always have your children with you when you travel. And your sister takes care of your pets? It's the same thing with me. I also entrust the feeding and caring of my 3 pet dogs to my sister whenever my family travel. Thanks for responding Maxima. Have a nice day!

If we enjoy a place alone especially if it is our first time visit, how much more if you visited with your family. You feel different if your company are your family. I cannot resist myself to think "how I wish my parents and siblings are here" so we can enjoy more the place. I am a traveler, many places in our country I've been visited but the problem, I am alone.

So you are not with your parents and siblings! You must be really longing for them. There is no better life than living it with your own family. Traveling alone would be very sad. Thank you for your response and hope you enjoy your day.

Yes he is sweet and you are right it's because his Mom (me of course) is sweet. Sweetness begets sweetness indeed. So you are not fond of traveling? Well you are not alone. My older sister does not like to travel either. She's happier when at home and doing chores or spending some chatting time with neighbors and friends around. Thank you dear for your response. Take care and do enjoy the weekend as well!

Hello Salonga, I have never been to Boracay but my I have heard it's a beautiful place there with lots and lots of tourist. some of them even decided to stay there and do business, but I have heard too that accomodations and renting rooms are too damn expensive compare before. well, let your son enjoy going to that place and have fun, am sure with the right kind of money you can go there too some day

Boracay is a must-see place. It is truly a paradise to behold. It is just quite expensive but you can always take advantage of promo deals during off-season. My son was able to get a package of only 5000 pesos for 3 days and 2 nights. Hope you find the same cheap offer one of these days so you can enjoy Boracay with your family as well. Thanks for responding and happy weekend!

So you also feel the same way gedua. It means you are a sweet and thoughtful person. It's a great joy to share good moments with loved ones. Nobody can replace them in your heart actually. Even if you have other companions you will still long to have your loved ones around.

Awww, that's so sweet of him! He's still mommy's little boy afterall :). Actually, I also miss my family whenever I visited a new place and I know that they will like it too. Most of the time, I travel with my husband and we both can't help but wish that our families are with us.

Yes, yes Raine you are right! And it feels good to hear a son saying sweet things like that. So you do travel with your husband? My husband and I do also travel together all by ourselves and that happens if my son can't get a leave from his job.But it feels incomplete. There is nothing better than traveling with the whole family. Thank you Raine for your response. Have a happy weekend!

Yes salonga, we do each chance we get. Hubby works offshore and he gets a few weeks off. Actually just last July, Boracay was our destination. None of us has been there before so it's pretty memorable.
