Whose sadness ?

Although animals are like humans, we should consider also their attitude with regards to humans. We should be careful in treating our pets. They are different from humans even some animals are kind like humans.

I think people like these are not really lovable people but they are afraid, hurt or on hide. They shield themselves but to not feel like a completely horrible person they are kind to someone, their pets sometimes. There are people that are absolutely horrible but they are a sweetheart to their mothers like they put them on a pedestal. But I think really from what I've seen people light this might be horribly hurt so maybe we should take compassion and show we are not there to harm them, you won't believe how many of hostile people change when we act like that. Plus they love animals so they are not horrible human beings probably.

I dont think a person have to treat a pet like their own child but they can treat is like a living thing. I think that is best treat it like a pet . I dont like to see people abusing animals its very mean because that poor animal just doing what come naturally and have little understanding of what they do . I think those people who are obsess with pets and treat them like human are usually alone and sad so thats their only companion who wont leave them , so when they see human they behave rude to you . I usually think about it , how can a human treat a animal better than a human . I think they are just afraid of you leaving them because they are mean spirited naturally and people wont tolerate them . That is my view

Some people get along better with animals than they do with people because they don't have the problems with animals that they do with people. Pets don't lie. Pets don't cheat you out of your money. Pets don't sleep with your boyfriend or girlfriend. Pets don't borrow money. Pets don't borrow your best clothes and never give them back. Pets don't try to get close to your husband or wife. Pets don't talk about you behind your back. That is why people have a lot of love for pets, because they can love a pet and the pet will love them back, but the pet will not hurt them. People feel safe with pets.

Hi friend, pet owners always gives a lot of importance to it and take care about their pets, they are ready to spend more for their pet's sake. Some pet owners don't give more importance to it and raise up it for social status, if you have a pet, you must care about it, don't do ills to it and never make fun with them

It makes sense that most people love pets because pets always please people, pets are cute, enjoyable, peaceable, sometimes naughty, pets really like children. Those treat a person inferior to a pet always couldn't feel the warmness and briliance of human heart, they must have difficulies in communicating with other people, they would consider other people self and greedy. Pets couldn't curse others, they seldom have emotions, comparing to hunman. During social activities, hunman beings show splendid characters, splendid emotions, good and bad ones. Some people just feel the bad ones and neglect the good ones, so they choose to hide, so they choose pets. All above are just personal views.

While many people rear up pets endearingly allowing comforts to them in excess m instances could very well be found out wherein the poor and dear pets are thrown to the mercy of the outer world when the owner has to move to a new surrounding to prolong and enhance his career prospects. The animal is neglected in an unmindful way.

Hey, that's really how it should be and I try my best also to give all the kindness I can afford to my pet dog. My present boss is a good example. He doesn't want his two Labradors to get wet and step om mud. At this time, we are building a shed over the dogs' play space with steel truss and graveled floors aside from their sleeping room fully enclosed. All in all the fenced lot especially for the dogs is approximately 100 square meters in a subdivision at the suburbs. The dogs are female and he doesn't want them to get pregnant.

I think many pet lovers who treat their pets like their children but are not nice to people are disillusioned... maybe they have very bad experiences of other people who treated them badly, and can't trust anyone any more. Pets give them unconditional love and are not two faced. I understand these people but I still think that we should be kind to humans and animals too.

I believe that some people with pets tend to be much more loving than those who don't. Well it depends on the people and how they treat others I dont think it has something to do with them being nice to their pets or something, or maybe they are just in a bad mood.

Last September 13, 2012 we celebrated the first birthday of our pet dog. I really love this dog because before he came to us she have been from two other persons. This dog is handicapped, she cannot walk straight because one foot is not balance. But, in spite of her physical defect she is cute and lovable. Watching this dog grow I learned to love her more...and i really pity her and will miss her when anything will happen to my pet dog.

People who loves their pets but are rude and harsh to other people must be emotionally sick. They must have a very bad experiences with peoples that cause them to alienate themselves to the society. They think that their pets are more dependable and most loyal to them and people will only hurt them. Cheers!

Some people can relate better to animals than other people. Kind of sad, really, but there it is. I think maybe it's because animals/pets don't really make demands on you, can be loyal to you, can probably "love" you unconditionally (that is, as much as they can be capable of "loving"). I know of an old woman who is very fond of her cats, but kind of strict and rude when it comes to other people. :) People just let her be.

Yes, of course. We need to treasure all lives. In fact, many people choose to have a pet because of lonliness and pressure. Pets are loyal companion to all of us. But there always are many people abuse those lively and lovely pets to release their depression, it should be punished both motally and physically. By the way, are you Chinese?

Hey thanks a ton for the wonderful discussion. Well yes there are many people on earth who treat their pet animals like their own kids and are very much protective and possessive towards them and they never let their pet animals to be harmed in any way. But there are some people who behave very rudely with their pets and even do not feed them properly. This is just so inhumane. We should love our pet animals equally and should be ready to protect them at all the stages. What say?

That is just so sad to see, people who loves pets so much but are rude to fellow humans. Is it because maybe they felt they pets are more loyal to them than a person who has an intellect? If we think about it it could be senseless but this behavior just shows that the satisfaction or happiness that they can get from their pets are better than other people.

there are people who even have maids to pamper their pets, yet they are inhuman to the maids by shouting at them, hurting them physically, not feeding them enough, not letting them rest, not paying them enough. that's the kind of pet owner i can't understand.
