My hair has been on a bad shape the past week and I think my hair conditioner is no longer working. I am using loreal hair conditioner. Though I must admit that I've been using it for the past 6 months. I also got an itchy scalp. I think my scalp & hair has been too immune with the chemicals that I have been experiencing this. I search around the net & of course every hair conditioner will claim that they are the best. I hope I get a sound answer on this topic from you, guys. I badly need your opinion on this. I need the brand name & What happens when you use your current hair conditioner? Thanks in advance.

I make my own with a mixture I found on ehow. It makes my hair very smooth and silky. It's not hard to make. The link is www.ehow.com/how_2099367_make-natural-conditioner-stimulate-hair.html Hope it works, if you make it. After a while the chemicals in commercial conditioners will damage your hair. I used many products over the years and this is the best. My hair is gray now, but has very good texture.

The egg and yogurt don't smell. The lemon juice and eucalyptus oil make a pleasant scent. I like it. There are soaps scented with lemon & eucalyptus. I don't think it's an unpleasant odor. But their are other mixtures on the net that you can make, different from this one. I think there may be others at ehow. Thanks for commenting.

The conditioner I am currently using now is Head&Shoulders. It gives a minty and cool feeling in your scalp and so as a smooth hair. But sometimes, I just use CreamSilk (the pink one) it also gives a shiny hair after drying it :)

I did not use any conditioner for years. Later on I used Syoss, it worked great for a while but not anymore. BTW also what the different hairdressers use don't work.
I think the problem is the kind of water used for washing my hair. In Hungary but also Africa my hair always feels like straw, in the Netherlands/Germany it doesn't.
No matter if I use a conditioner or not. Even the most expensive conditioners are not working abroad, so I gave up. Perhaps next time I will use vinegar after washing it. Might be it helps to make it easier to comb. I have a very fine hair structure, no hairdresser was able to comb it after washing it during all these years. They only make a bigger mess (lots of knots) out of it. BTW there is only one conditioner working for me.. that is the one added to even the most cheapest hairpaint! I have not the slightest idea what is different with that conditioner and all the different kinds I bought.

I stopped using a conditioner when it got over last time and I took a break of 3 months. Now last week I bought the conditioner and it is loreal too. It is doing good and i can my hair become better. I think you must take breaks and not use it everytime. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

You are right, I guess I need to take a break in using a conditioner. I love loreal conditioner the first 4 months of using was totally amazing but on the 5th month, my hair started to be so dull & itchy. Thanks for your reply.

I think its good to switch up shampoo and conditioner brands every now and then. My hair usually thanks me for it. I think right now I am using V05 conditioner daily but then once a week I use Pantene hair mask for a really good deep conditioning.

Lately I have been using Suave Professionals: Almond & Shea Butter moisturizing. I started using it because I don't have a lot of money but I need extra moisture in my hair because I send a lot of time by pools for my job. Did I also mention my hair is relaxed.
Well my conditioner does make my hair feel really good keeps it moist at night before I go to bed but I would still recommend that you maybe add a leave in conditioner. I do that because no matter what my hair craves moisture because I live in a humid area and the chlorine I am around.
