After spending the last 16 days with my mom the time has come to say Goodbye,
How do you handle sad Goodbyes.....Do you make it short and fast so you won't cry or do you do a lot of hugging and not wanting to let go?
My mom and my Dad too when he comes always try to make it quick and painless so they won't cry and they won't see me cry .
I want to hold on as long as I can but at the end I have to let go.
So today is gonna be a sad day....what's your day look like

I know how hard is to say goodbye to someone you love. I had to say goodbye to my ex-husband when I still loved him. The last time I saw him was in an airport too, and we just stayed there looking at each other with sadness, as if we knew that would be the last time; and it certainly was so far. After I returned to my country, many things happened and we had to say goodbye to each other permanently. I still think about that day, and sometimes I wish I could have stayed there with him rather than coming back. Yes, it's sad and painful to say goodbye, but we have to keep on going forward. We still have a life ahead of us, and time is the best healer.

That's what my mom says too (You have your life and I have mine), she is right and I'm happy with my life but I wish I lived closer to her so Goodbyes wouldn't seem so permanently and I could see her more often

Nowadays, distance is not a problem for the people who love each other. Hopefully, you and your mom can talk through Skype, Messenger, Facebook, or any other way through the internet. It's not easy to say goodbye to your mom, especially when you get along well and you have lived with her your whole life; but at least she is alive, and you can tell her how much you love her with a letter, with a phone call or with a message. I love my mom, and she had to go to another country for four months. I missed her so badly, but I was willing to live without her, as long as she were happy. Hopefully, she came back and we are together now. What I mean is that I was willing to live far away from her if it were necessary. Saying goodbye is something we must learn to deal with.

That was really sad. I cannot say goodbye actually. Especially when the person and I will be very far from each other. I will definitely cry and cry. Surely you are very sad today but as time will pass, you will get used to it. I experienced that one when I studied far from our place. I always get homesick and missing my mom’s cooking and everything. But thinking that it is for my own good, and then in time, it passed.
Just smile when you are missing them. Have a good day!

She's ben gone for a day now and it all seems like it was just a big dream that she was here.
I miss her already but I know she is also happy to be back home in her own place sleeping in her own bed again.

good day missybear,
saying goodbye is not really an easy thing. hence it is one of the phrases that is not so easy to say. that in every life's situation, saying goodbye is sometimes a must thing to do. and with my life here, i must learn how to be strong when i need to say goodbye to my loved ones very soon. though it will be a sad part, but it will be the good thing to do for us to be bonded again.

hi,
when my family and i went to our native land was very exciting but the saddest moment was when we need to say goodbye to each other because we went back here in the city, the last breakfast and lunch with them was the saddest food i have eaten.

Dear missybear, you are such a dutiful guy,I think all of us should learn this from you,I have the same situation with you,I work in another city so I do not have enough time to accompany with my parents, every time for me is the same, hard to say goodbye.
But I think we should pay more time to accompany with our parents so that say bye bye for each time will become more easy,do you agree with me?

If the case is that we won't be able to see them again or soon, when I say goodbye to someone who is really dear to me or like a loved ones (boyfriend, mom, dad, super close friend, best friend) , I would definitely hug them before they leave and would not want to let go. Just to let them feel how much they mean to me and would really miss them a lot. We don't really know what kind of incidents might happen so I always take everyday like my last day.

There is not just one way to say goodbye. Also there is no need to say goodbye if it is not a goodbye for ever. Also there is nothing wrong with crying or looking sad, these are all ways to express your feelings to someone. My day is kind of peaceful today... I am searching for some answers.. I might have found them, at least I hope so.

I have about an hour left with her and then it's off to the airport, after she's gone I'm gonna go out with my honey to have a drink or 2 so I don't have to sit at home
