I am here staring in space, while dithering about what to write on concerning my college essay application to YALE university. I have finished a few other schools' essays. I really want the yale's essay to be effulgent but I just have no clue to what to write on, none what so ever. I guess nothing special, or over the edge never happened in my life and I have no clue how to transform the ordinary into an extraordinary experience or situation. I am just clueless. Lying on my back in my bed and staring at the designs in my ceiling.

Hey! wake up. Searching some topics in internet. Call your friends. Find some ideas. Good luck :)

I am not feeling somnolent at the moment. I have been searching topics but even when I do find some, it just doesn't fit with me. Those that do slightly fit, i still don't know exactly what I am going to write on it.
I call my friends everytime for help, and I still cant really come up with anything that I really want to write on.
Thanks, I am really going to need that luck although I feel a bit hapless.

You could write about how you found myLot and how meeting new people online from all over the world has changed your attitudes and expanded your views--maybe there's a particular culture that you had an opinion about that has changed since you began "speaking" to people that live that way. You could write about how you might have honed your debate skills here, learned to stick to the point and not get distracted or perhaps you could write about how online people become more real as you interact with them on a daily or weekly basis.
Write about something or someone that has had an influence in your life and on your world views or perhaps an experience that changed your attitude towards life. Colleges eat that stuff up.
