A co - worker of mine finally convince me to get a flu shot this year, since it is provided by the company. Why not take an advantage of it. Actually, for the past 3 years, I never took a flu shot, even though it is free from my work. I thought that I didn't need it. Somehow, this year I got sick for 2 weeks, and my co - workers encouraged me to take it. Every year there is new disease or virus coming out, we should take precaution on our health. So, would you take flu shot this year. It is also available on those pharmacy stores too.

I take the time to get a flue shot every year. Still, that does not stop the flue from heading my way. I still get the flue even if I have already gotten the shot.

I have never got a flu shot. As the flu types change every year. Sometimes the shot can't prevent you from the new type of flu. Besides, I am afraid of the side effects. Having the flu shot can't ensure that you will not catch a flu. Your symptoms may not be so serious and that's all.

I don't have them. The only one I ever had gave me 'flu, so I didn't fancy putting myself in that position any more. That was 32 years ago and I've never had 'flu since.

I'd never take a flu shot ever again. Our company pays for our flu shots every year. On my first year here, I took the flue shot. We were warned of side effects for at least a few days to a week. Well, my side effects took more than that. And I noticed that I was more sickly the whole year. From that moment I vowed not to take it again.
But, that is just my case, and I'm one of the very few with that effect. Why not try it this year and see if it would do you good.

I certainly do intend to get a flu shot this year. I've been getting them for the past four years and haven't has as much as a common cold. In the past, I was right delinquent in getting them and had colds and flu almost every year. Sometimes I'd have a cold two or three times in one year.
As we get older we can't take a chance on getting an illness that will put us down. It costs too much to get rid of.

Since Randy is diabetic he is required to get his flu shot. He was a Veteran and has medical benefits through them so he gets one for free. I got one once and then two days later I ended up with the flu anyway so now I do not get one. I am glad that you have gotten one.

I try to get my flu shot every year and have been for at least the past 6 years. Last year I failed to do so and my fiance and I both got horribly sick with the flu. My flu turned into bronchitis and I was bedridden for weeks. I don't want that happening again, so we'll both be getting flu shots soon!

I would definitely consider it if the cost will be shouldered by our company. But if I have to pay it on my own money, I don't think I will although like you have said, it is really important. Maybe I will think about it if they will give about 50% discount LOL. I may feel a little low sometimes but I don't really get sick.

I would probably consider having flu shots every year for health purpose and protection. It is really hard and so expensive to be sick right now so better to be protected all the time for all diseases around.

Hi king, my doctor had it last month when I had my physical and
so I received mine already...I was advised it wasn't to early
so I got it...even tho I had just had those 12 injections in my
back the previous week and a half..I really didn't want to see
any needles but I figured I might as well get it while I was
there...
I use to not ever take it but since the B reast Cancer it was
suggested that I should definately get it because my immune system
was so weaken with the chemo....
