Oscar winning Movie

Hi, I haven't seen this movie. But I have watched promos of this movie on TV and theses are very nice. My son have watched this movie two times and he would like to watch it again and again. He said acting of Ranbir Kapoor is mind blowing. So I would like to see this movie and I wish this movie will get Oscar award.

hello, barfi is a great movie...i am very happy that it has been sent for oscars. i hope it makes the final nominations. it should win the oscar because its a very different story and has an universal appeal...all the three main characters have played a brilliant role. they acted so well. ranbir kapoor was extraordinary and priyanka chopra is simply mind blowing. illeana was also very very good as a debut actrss. she looked super cute. i am rooting for this movie and sincerely hoping for it to win. i only watched this movie last week and hoping to watch it again with my whole family.

I can say this is the right choice as the movie is fantastic to watch for. Hope at least win some prizes

really?? its still only September... the nomination doesnt begin till January 2013.. thats when every single movie are being sent to the academy of motion picture and sciences to be shortlisted.. this is an eloborated news.. so far..over many years..theres been several movies from India made it to the "Best foreign picture category..Salam Bombay..& Lagaan" but no wins yet.. maybe next year with Burfi..if they get to be shortlisted..good luck..

It is being sent in for this coming Oscar season? That is great. If they are sending it to represent India they should also send it to the other award ceremonies like the Golden Globes. I wish it luck because lots of countries send in submissions and they only pick like 6 movies (each from a different country). Then out of that one film takes the statue. Sorry if I sound like I am bringing do the happiness levels

Wow. Good luck on that movie. I haven't heard of that movie yet but hearing that it was been send for an oscar award wowed me. I think it's a good movie to watch. I should give myself a try.
