Today I have found my purpose of life

I went to market today and there I found a very old man. He was sitting at the pavement and around him were few hand-made baskets. His face was covered in his hands and he was weeping loudly. I went to him, asked him not to cry. He began to cry more. And then he said, that his only son had died few years ago. He doesn't have money for even two meals a day and that nobody was buying basket from him. He was crying because the day was almost over, he had no fare to travel and nothing to take home for dinner for him and his wife. At that time, I had around 1000 PKR, which I gave him, If I had more, I would have given him more. I am in a fix since then. I wish I had more money to help him out. Since then I am thinking what if I had the same situation if I grew old. What if I had no one to take care of me. I have decided, that I am gonna save as much as I can now and by the grace of God Almighty will one day build a home for old people. I am so teary right now, I don't know what to do how to help:(

Well, that was a real nice thing you did for that old man. But you cannot live your life and cut yourself short because of all the homeless or less fortunate. I understand you like to help. Maybe try and get the old man into some king of program. You know, sometimes its not always about giving money, sometimes giving your time is more valuable.

Hey u wont believe how proud and happy i am after reading this post. I mean i cannot believe that u are such a brave heart and it is very very difficult to see people like u on earth these days who are willing to help poor people. Yes there are may people on earth who have no body around to take care of them. It is our duty at least to look after them at least by building a home for them. I got emotional after reading your discussion and seriously hats off to you that u donated your amount and i hope u continue to help people and your dream of building a home for old people will definitely be a reality in the future. What say?
