A typical way to describe a man walking on the beach, leaving foot prints on the sand. Now, I had seen shoe prints on the cemented floor. I went to visit the Good Shepherd Convent. As I step into the entrance, I saw this yellow shoe prints on the side walk going to the convent. I took the image for a souvenir. Since it is not usual to paint shoe prints on the side walk, unless if you are having a gait training.

when i was young, we have a dog and there are times, we have cemented our floors at the backyard and our dogs are the first ones who always leave marks on them. same as those people who pass there not knowing it has wet cement...
maybe there was a meaning who left that foorprints in there.

I saw hand prints or stars on the cemented floor in Hollywood in California. I went there in 1993 so I don't remember which it was. In 1998 I visited Jerusalem in the West Bank. I went to the Church of the Nativity and saw a star on the cemented floor.

I know that when my dad poured another driveway and a sidewalk on the side of our house we got to put our hand prints in the cement and we wrote our names in it. That was fun. There is an area where I live underneath some trees that have leaf prints in the sidewalk. It almost looks like fossils.

This is very interesting. I wonder if someone painted it there on purpose or stepped in wet cement. Maybe you should have asked at the convent to see if they know. I'm glad tho you got to take this with you since this is very unusual anywhere in the world that i know of.

When cement is wet, sometimes animals or people walk over it and leave their prints, such as they are left in the sand. I have seen both of them, but more often you see animal prints as there`s not enough care in taking care of wet concrete in streets.

Yes I used to usually see shoe prints on cement when I was young. When I was a kid and we were living in a new subdivision and all the vacant houses had newly cemented pavements, I used to see some shoe prints in them.

I have seen shoe prints on cement floors that were placed there when the cement was not quite dry.

That's interesting. Maybe you should have asked them at the convent if that was deliberate and what was the meaning behind it or whether someone had accidentally stepped on fresh cement. For me, where I walk, I saw some paw prints. I think it was a dog's paw print. It makes me smile every time I see those prints! Poor puppy must be wondering why his paws were sinking!
