For the first time in mylot I saw colored response. I was responding to a discussion and I saw the first word of the first response was in blue. I mean in Awww, the www was in blue. can anyone tell me how it could be blue. I also want to make colorful ..have you guys seen it before??? I tried to find the discussion but I don't have time to go and see the discussions I have responded one by one. Can anyone tell me how to write colorful responses? Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

It must have been that the 'www' was taken as part of a website address. When we post links here, they will show up as blue indicating a website address.

This was my thought also. Maybe a glitch in the myLot code? Still neat though!

It was not the url of any website but i guess it is related to the www of the web. I have tried it but it has come underlined but not like how i saw. I wish to know it too. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

MyLot automatically parses most things which look like a web address as a link. Many website names begin with 'www' and I believe that the MyLot system sees any text which has 'www.' in it as a link. I think it's important that it has the dot after it (we shall see) and 'www' on its own (or 'Awww') doesn't work.

Yes, indeed, it is 'www' followed by a full stop which triggers the link-builder ... UNLESS it's preceded by https://!

I'm thinking the "WWW" was blue due to being part of a website link which will always highlight in blue and also typically be underlined. I got excited for a minute when I thought we could type colorful responses, I hope this option is available sometime, as it'd be fun to switch up the colors based on mood, etc.

Hi Riya! I believe when we post a hyper link of any discussion or of any website, after submission it changes from black colour to blue or pink. I am not aware if we could type/post our words in some colour, as is possible in a 'word file' or while writing mail using Gmail. hv a grt eveng.

its only with the www because some how mylot program thinks its going to be a link and ive seen it be happening ever since something was brought up about not being allowed certain links in discussions like to a pay site or such. so a lot of times i try to avoid saying awww in my discussions for that reason.

I was replying to one discussion yesterday and when I hit the tag button and went back to the whole discussion, I saw that some part of my comment was in blue. I am not sure what key I pressed, though.

I have never seen this as well on MyLot. I wonder if its because they used HTML code. But that would be neat to see, and do with responses.

myLot isn't real smart about knowing what a link is - so it sees 3 "w"s together and thinks its a link...

Wow! That's awesome! I haven't seen colorful responses yet on discussions. But I'm hoping that I'm looking forward to see that colorful stuff. :)

It looks like we found the culprit! I wonder if that is a bug that myLot is aware of or not? I don't think it harms anything but who knows.
