It was time when i used to eat chocolate everyday and then i had left eating it due to increase in my weight. Since today sister in law came with her 5 years old kid, hubby brought chocolates for him and also one for me. i ate it and liked it after months. Did you stop eating chocolate anytime, especially due to lose weight or something?? I will not get back like before..lol .. Don't want to get fatter .. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I can usually refuse candy and other sweets. But not chocolate. I love it but haven't been buying it lately for the same reason as you. I'm not overweight really but I don't want to get that way. A few months back, I kept a cake baked and available all of the time, but I've even let up on that. My jeans were getting too tight. And you can only go so long blaming the shrinking jeans and shirts.

I also love eating chocolates. But I feel guilty after eating a lot and of course, my weight get affected to. So to discipline myself, I do not buy chocolates. I only eat when someone gives me. I am currently selling chocolates but never touched any of them.

Hey great to hear that u had chocolates after a long time. Well i am pretty confused about the involvement of chocolates in the weight gain issues. This is because i heard somewhere that chocolates can be vital in weight loss and sometimes u can see in the papers advocating to stay away from chocolates to reduce your weight. Any ways, u can have chocolates not on a regular basis so as to avoid adding fats to your body. I know how painful it must be for u to stay away from chocolates. What say?

Oh no it is wrong when you say vital in weight loss.. Have you seen how chocolate is made?? Just see a video. Have you ever wondered why chocolate melts in the sun?? Because oil melts in the sun ...It is made of so much of oil, did you know.?? and oil is bad for health. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I read somewhere that dark chocolates are good for curing coughs. So when I was down with it 2 weeks ago, I went and bought the dark chocolates (not the creamy or dairy milk ones) and it worked like a good cough syrup. The coughing just stopped. So you may want to remember this the next time you come down with a cough.

Hmmmmm....I haven't heard of that. That will be good to know. Definitely cheaper than the commercial cough preparations. I'll have to research and see to the quantities, etc. Thanks.

I eat chocolate almost every day , I love chocolate cake which I make sure to eat at least once a month also , I am like chocolate boy from "hey arnold" . I never stop because its once of my favorite snack , I only try new kind of chocolate . I think because my body is used to chocolate it cant gain weight from it . When we sometime try to avoid putting on weight that is the time we will because our mind starting to think it .

I have been losing weight for the past two years and I have hardly had any chocolate after all that time. Although I have had a little bit every now and again, I have never been able to have anywhere near the same amount that I might have been able to eat in the past. I am hoping that when I lose weight I will be able to eat a new 500 calories each day because that is the amount that I am cutting back on to be able to lose weight. I will eat around half of these calories in treats of an evening and the other half in my meals to add a couple of things like sauces that I have cut back on due to the calories in them.

I also like to eat chocolate, used to like to eat sweet kind, then trun to eating dark chocolate slowly, I like the kind of 75% cocoa content. When I feel tried, eat dark chocolate can let me feel better really. If you stop eating chocolate for lose weight, I suggest you try to eat some dark chocolate, because I heard it can help to lose weight.

Oh I love chocolates. I wouldn't give up on it yet:) While I'm still not worrying about my weight, while I still have an active lifestyle, while there are chocolates around!! I'm not sure but I heard that chocolate supply will decrease by 2014 because of some worker dispute in a major cocoa plantation. I hope it's not true!
