The same, I totally agree. I will also call for help who can swim better than I do. I know how to swim but don't know how when i have to carry someone with me while swimming. I drown when i do that. I have already tried saving one. It was my mom. but good thing it was just in the swimming pool. I almost drowned while saving her. (o

Well, I probably couldn't help him, but if there were a life guard around I'd get them, or if there were a rope around I'd try and toss it to him. I'm not stupid enough to think I'm a strong enough swimmer to actually get out the and try and save him.

I would certainly swim out to the drowning mam as fast as i could. I wouldn't think about it. When i was a teenager I had a cousin have an asthma attack out on a lake. He fell out of the boat. the girl in the boat with him could not swim and my cousin drowned. Maybe if somebody had been able to swim out to my cousin he would still be with us today. And I would thank that person for their lifesaving efforts.

hi,
if that will happen to me i think i will call somebody to help that person which is more expert on how to swim even how deep the part of the sea or pool it is,its not an ignoring but because i don't really know or i am not expert to swim and if i will help that person maybe i could be drowned too.

Hi, Shavkat... Thats a good question... For me I would swim out to help him because I am big enough and strong enough to actually help him... Plus I am into SCUBA and Swimming and the like so I am compfortable in the water... If someone is smaller than the drowning man and not trained in water rescue not only would they likely not be able to help him but more likely be putting themselves at risk of drowning too... So there is no shame in not responding if too small or untrained... Talk to you later...

I would try everything I could to save him, but I would not swim out to him, I am not a strong swimmer and would just make matters worse.

I would be so ashamed of myself if I didn't try to help him.

It might take me a minute to be able to get into the water to be able to help a person that is drowning because I would want to strip my clothes off before I got into the water to keep from having a lot of weight from my clothes pulling me down. However, I know that if I was to see a situation like this, I would be the person that would attempt to save the person that is drowning. The reason for this is because of the fact that I have been trained as a lifeguard in the past and I also am not the kind of person that can just stand by and watch another person suffer.

I would get help I don't think I am a strong enough swimmer to help him, but if no one else was around I would try to help, because some help is better then no help. God would have to give me the strength and ability to do so.

Hi being its a beach I am sure there will be others will
be there so if he was close to shore I might attempt to
go help him as a first instint...but I would definately
yell for someone else to help him as well...
Hopefully there is a Lifeguard on duty....

hey
Anyone who has a heart and knows how to swimm will definately jump into water and save him. I mean why would anyone let him die, the only conditions would be if they can not swim, there are sharks in water or he is too far to approach but i believe anyone would try to save a life for a humaity.

I will call for some help to who knows how to swim
since I'm not good in swimming maybe a life guard
or any people on the beach who professionally can
save him. It is very hard to save someone who is
drowning the saver must know how to do it.

It depends. If I am a good swimmer, I will go into the water and try to help him. I am not a swimmer, I will shout aloud for help.

I'd love to help anyone who needs help, unfortunately I don't know how to swim. I'll try to convince anybody to help that person instead.

I can not swim so if I see someone who almost drown then all I can do is scream as loud as I could so that people pay attention to me or if I am not around of people then I would seek help as soon as possible. I would not take the risk of jumping into the water because it means there will be 2 lives to be saved and no one is going to seek help for us.
