There have been a very high number of sequels in Cinema's over the past few years as Movie companies try and find new ways of staying strong in the World's financial state it is at the moment. I can't wait to see Taken 2 next week and I love many sequels and Film series' so I thought of a question. Are there any movies which you would like a sequel to that haven't been made or talked about yet?. Why and what makes you think a sequel could be made from the way the film developed?.

Can't think of any sequel I want to see off the top of my head. Be creative and make original movies.

They can be. Some movies are even imagined as series from the start but most of them are made just for milking money. Like Taken 2. I loved the first film but it looks like it's gonna be the same thing all over again. Poor guy. First they took his daughter, now they've taken his ex-wife. I bet there's gonna be Taken 3 in which they'll take his dog and then Taken 4 where they will take his grandchildren. After that they will remake the first Taken starring Shia Labeouf.

Thanks for the response Jen,
I am often disappointed by a sequel which doesn't feature the same producers and directors.

This probably sounds weird, but I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to movie 2012. I'd like to know how you would rebuild civilization after the catastrophe that happen during the movie. Would the entire population that was left live in Africa, where they were heading at the end of the movie?

Yeah that would be interesting actually. That could make a great movie.

My kids have strong opinions about this question--my younger son would like to see a sequel of The Incredibles, and my older son wants to see a sequel for "Cloverfield." Both pretty good choices, I think. I have actually wondered why a sequel to The Incredibles was never made, since the movie did so well.

I am excited for Taken 2 as well. I think in mind of sequels I am patiently awaiting the Sin City sequel that has been promised for years now.
I also feel like there were some movies that were supposed to have sequels but failed so bad that they didn't get the chance. I mean there should have been a sequel to The Golden Compass but they spent so much on the first film and it didn't take off like they hoped.
The movie Jumper that starred Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson was not great but it felt like there was an opening for a sequel that could have justified the first film.

Hmm, I have seen bits of Jumper and it certainly could have a sequel.

Yeah I have been impressed by the trailers and can't wait to see the film. I hope it's somewhere close to how good the first one is and from what I have seen from the Trailers it looks very promising.
