We had such a wonderful time, though it was costly. Here is what we had:
well I had a sangria, Matt had corona beer.
I had a think that looked like a cupcake, and tasted like chicken salad as an entree (entrees are before the main meal here in Canada) matt had a plate of oyster for his entree
for the main meal I had lamb chops
and he had a dish with all kinds of stuff like beans, chicken burrito and nachos and quacomole.
then we shared my dessert which was short bread square with jam in the middle
and coffee
We will definitely go back.

It sounds like you had a very nice dinner. I don't think I'd care for the oysters. I like them better in Chowder than by themselves. Your dessert sure sounds interesting. We went to Sizzler the other night. I had my usual salmon and it was great. Tonight we are having porkchops, potatos and brussel sprouts. Yum!

We do. And they occasionally have specials. Not often but once in awhile. Cami gets different stuff but I get the same thing and Josh usually gets the salad bar. You really should insist that they open an Sizzler's there. lol

That sounds so good!!! Where is it? I might think about going there next time I'm in Montreal.

I'm glad that you had a wonderful time. The food sounds very good. I prefer what Matt had, since I'm not a huge lamb person. I don't see myself eating out in a long time. I gained a lot of weight after I quit smoking, on top of eating like a horse because food tasted to good to pass up. Now I'm paying for it. Think of me when you do go back, and enjoy your dessert.

Unfortunately, there are no Peruvian restaurants in this area. Otherwise, I would have had the opportunity by now to enjoy the cuisine, which sounds like it is a fantastic fusion of several different influences. However, there are a lot of other really great restaurants within reasonable driving distance of us.

I'm glad you had a great time. A treat for me would go to a steak house.
