I've of late been passing out very acidic urine. I believe it is dietary since unless I take coffee or pepper the is usually no problem. I do take a mug of coffee daily and was wondering if it could be the cause of acidic urine which makes me very uncomfortable!

You are correct there my friend that drinking coffee makes your stomach to upset of uric acid
was already very alarming.I think you are already having some joint aches already or an arthritis maybe. You better have your urine examine in a laboratory to know your exact uric content in your system, because if this is never given proper medications you could have some kidney stones developing in your system,so better see a physician.

Have you actually measured the pH of your urine? I ask, because I'm just wondering whether you have a urethral infection or something else you need to see a doctor or triage nurse about and your problem isn't increased acidity of urine but increased sensitivity to it.

Well i can understand your situation very well and would like to recommend u to be on a light diet devoid of excessive spices on a daily basis. Try to include more dry and continental food in your diet like vegetables and fruits that can help your bowel system. i believe excessive intake of tea or coffee might also be one of the cause but u should take coffee or tea once in a day. Also remember to take your meals on time.
What say?
