Do you have the tendency to whistle?

You are working in a group of people for a certain company. As a team member of that company, you are working in unison with co-employees with loyalty. A twist of fate will about to test your loyalty, since you've found out that your leader and the rest of the followers are doing an anomaly behind your back. Are you going to blow a whistle to higher ups? As a whistle blower, you will make or break the profound loyalty to the group.

I would tend to be a whistle blower. If people are really loyal to the companty they will make sure that it is following best practices in whatever it does. It is not good to support illegal or unsafe actions in the work place.

If they are doing something wrong, first you go to them to get them to stop. If that doesn't work, then you go to the higher ups.

hi,
if that will happen to me i will never talk or speak that anomaly because when i do that all of them will surely hate and angry to me or maybe they will hurt me because they can be terminate to the company, and i am glad because i have worked many companies and never yet encounter that.

If the group is doing that thing behind your back, then you are no more in the same group, so it is not who broke the loyalty first but it is them.
So go for it. If the group matters a lot to you then you can ask them directly what is going on there.

If the anomaly is so big that the management needs to take notice I might. I think the bad practice inside should be minimized for the betterment of everybody and not to a few in the office who is taking advantage of the company's vulnerability.
But of course you observed everything around you before whistling yourself out to assure that your safety will not be compromised because of this.

I think that whistle blowers are brave, when they know something is wrong and have the guts to stand up for what is right it demands respect. There is a movie with Ruselle Crowe called "The Insider" and its about a whistle blower and all he has to go through because he wants to stand up for the truth. Loyalty to dishonesty is stupidity.

It depends on what it is. I don't accept misbehaviour. Not my own so also not from other people. I also don't care if I belong to the group or not, I never did. So I will do what is, to my opinion, the right thing to do. Which can mean I leave as well.

It really all depends on what the situtation is..if it was
something that effected me personally then by all means I
would, I definately need to look after my welfare but if it
did not effect me then I would not get involved..
I think it probably happens more often that we know but
its just kept quiet...who wants the reputation as a whistle
blower just bcause...

I will blow the whistle and move to another company if needed. That's how it works for me I don't allow things like this. I don't act like I'm blind, I saw it and I have proof so maybe I am afraid a little but the important thing is I was able to stop an anomaly. That will be a great contribution to our company. As a person I am always into social responsibility and I have strict philosophies about it.

surely i will whistle to encourage them... but it is purely depend on the place where my team is and how my team is? if it is not a company or business site and if my team members are socially enjoyable type then i will blow a whistle. suppose my team leader or members loves to be discipline in public places i will behave as a gentleman else if they are enjoyable and as close as my friends,...i also enjoy..

Hi friend, i am not interested in whistling. Some persons will whistle when they are happy, but i don't like this kind of activities. I hate this activity, so i don't whistle for any purpose.
