Tapping sounds from a cigarette butt seems so familiar, especially if you have friends who are smoker. I am not sure, if they are aware of this. They used to tap the cigarette butt on any flat surfaces, it can be on a matchbox or at the side of a lighter. Then, they will lit the tobacco stick, puff the smoke from their lungs. Is it a part of a habit or mannerism? Generally speaking, it is like a pattern behaviour for smokers. Do you have any idea?

Well, I believe that smoking is a bad habit, and severely damaging to their health, and also for those who breathe passive smoke. I speak that I am a smoker, but no I'm proud of it!
Unfortunately it is a bad habit very difficult to eliminate from our lives, many times I tried, but unfortunately so far without success.
Quitting smoking, however, would be a great goal, and it is never too late. Or rather, try to quit smoking before being hit by some nasty disease
