I started about 2 weeks ago. I don't know what to get my husband, but I have already gotten stuff for my daughter and 2 boys. I also need to get something for my nieces, brother and sister and my aunt. Then I will be all done.
Have you started your Holiday shopping yet?

I have started as well but shhhh dont tell any one lol. I have the presents hidden so well that I dont think my kids will ever find them. I burried them at the bottoms of their closets lol. If they were to find them that would mean they have to clean the closets out and as a parent I know that will never happen lol. So the few presents I have are hidden lol. My mom said she did it to me one time and I never found them gave me a great idea lol. I really hate to shop so I do it all year long when I find a good deal. I treat every day like christmas though so we really dont spend a lot on christmas as my kids are pretty spoiled as it is.

I have a big child who snoops (the man I am married to) and every year it becomes difficult to figure out where to hide things. This year we have our own place and I am thinking about asking my mom if I can hide things there and wrap things up over there and bring them back to my house. I figure I can wrap them in bigger boxes and Randy cannot figure out what they are. I remember one year my friend wrapped her mom's present in a big wooden crate and made her mom dig through the whole crate to find a gift. I may try to do that with Randy's gift.

Already? hehe. I think a lot of people has started shopping already which is usual. But to me, I don't shop for holidays like Christmas until little closer maybe when it is the beginning of the November. However, I would buy the things if I think it is perfect for my family if I see it at the store.

I have not started yet, but I will be starting on my Christmas crafts that I want to sell at the garage sale in two weeks. I am hoping to make some money so I can either put it towards Christmas shopping or a special gift for Randy (he wants to go to see the Oak Ridge Boys in December). I will be making a few craft projects that I am hoping to get started on the first week in November. I have no idea what to get anyone else. I have to buy for my parents, my sister, my 3 nephews, my niece, my brother, my grandparents, my brother and of course my biggest child (my husband Randy). The 2 7 year old nephews are easy to shop for and so is my niece. My 10 year old nephew is hard to shop for. My sister will be getting a homemade plaque. I will get a few things for my parents. For my grandmother I am making this cute plaque that says, "Grandma's are antique little girls". I am not sure what to get my grandfather, my brother, my father or Randy for that matter. I am not sure what the cats will be doing for Randy either (they always make something for daddy). I will make up my budget this weekend then hope to get started in November.

This has been the busiest year in my life because I spent almost half the year for my training so until this time I am not yet able to think of what gift I could give to my family and friends. Besides I spent a lot of money for the training and my savings were drained I even had pawned one of my rings to pay for other expenses. I know my family understands my situation but if I can be able to get my bonus, perhaps I could still do some last minute shopping.

I hate crowds and I hate last minute shopping, so I actually buy presents all the year round and I put them in my bottom draw, not only does it save the mad rush, it also spreads the cost of buying presents out so you are not paying out one lump sum. Plus I find bargains during the year and save money that way. Even when I went on vacation I came back with three presents for Christmas! So when Christmas comes I am all sorted and there's no mass panic!

that's a great way to do it. I only shop in stores that I can do lay-a-way, or i shop online through my cashback website. These both work well for me. but i think next you i will also through in getting little things here and there throughout the year

Mentally I have, I know what I want to get some people but I'll have to wait for some sales before I do. We usually start in October - November because we can stockpile some stuff and then mail it out because we're usually traveling during the holidays.

I haven't started with the shopping for this coming holiday.
Maybe I will start it early by November when Malls starts with the sale items for this holiday season.

oh that nice to hear. I don't have anyone close around me to gift. I just have to give my hubby something I guess. Well he gave me gift yesterday and that is something I desperately needed. It is a pair of jogging shoes from Puma. I like it very much and I have started jogging from today. I wish i will lose weight soon. lol okay I think for kids you can buy a variety of things, so much of choices in town. happy shopping to you. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.
