What will be my life without cellphone? We already know that almost all of the people are using cellphone, because we can used this for a fast communication. As a student without a cellphone will be hard for me because I get some further instruction/information to my teachers or classmates etc. I also used it in times of emergency. In time when my love ones are far away we can have a conversation. As globe(network) says in a tv commercial "abot ko ang mundo"! (i can reach the globe) haha what will be your life without a cellphone? :) you can share your tough, happy mylotting!

I hate to be without a mobile phone, as this is how I manage to keep in constant contact with my family, schools, hospital and all the other people that need to stay in touch with me. I prefer to text people rather than call them, as I find this better for me when I am trying to talk to other people on my other phone, also when you send a date by text they have it all on hand to remind them, I think that is another reason why the drs and nurses like to text dates to my phone, so that I do not forget.

I wish that I could live without my phone, because it sometimes gets to me that I don't seem to be able to get a single minute to myself without someone sending me either an email or a text message. But unfortunately I have to be able to receive these so that I can do my work, because my clients send me work through to my mobile. I have been thinking about getting separately phones for home and work use, but I am not sure whether this is something that I want to do yet because my friends probably wouldn't like me cutting myself off from them in that way.

There are a lot of people alive that barely remember life without instant communications. I grew up when telephones were used mainly for emergencies or short conversations. There were nearly no sales calls because it was considered rude to call someone you did not know. If the phone rang after 8PM you assumed it was a dire emergency. If we needed information we went to the library. If we needed to make a call we went to the nearest pay phone--many of us kids put nickels and dimes in our "penny loafers" instead of pennies so we'd have phone money. We sat in enclosed phone booths in public and the phone at home was usually in some out of the way place like the kitchen or a butler's pantry. We did fine without phones. Life was more relaxed and less urgent. I don't use mine much, very rarely, but I'm glad it's there if I should need it. I don't have a smart phone so it's just a phone. I can see how having a smart phone is good for you as a student but I certainly look fondly upon that time when everything wasn't at our fingertips and we weren't so rushed because of being in touch with everyone, all the time.

I could be without, although I only cut mine own when I go somewhere, mainly for emergency or missed calls at home. nice to have for those reasons. I do not do games or go to internet on it I do that at home on computer so when at home it is off. I have home phone also for when I am home..which I mostly am at home..but it is good to have when you travel, go out, or the electric goes out ..

Absolutely right. Now I can understand why cellphones have become a necessity. Before 2008 I didn't have a cellphone. My kids had bought mobiles for themselves. They were insisting me to buy one for myself, but I was thinking it would be a wastage of money. But then I had to buy one on their insistence.Gradually it became my habit. Now I can understand why cellphones have become an inevitable necessity now.So much so that it is now difficult to imagine a life without them.

I am pleased that I have a cellphone sometimes but not always. You see, I am from an older generation and I managed fine without one before. I don't use mine a lot but it is good that I have one in times of need, like when my car breaks down and I am far from home. However, on days like today when, just as I sat down to lunch, it rang, I rather wish I didn't have one at all

Santos, when i was young i don't feel that i need any cellphone at that time. It is because my parents would come to pick me whenever i had completed my studies. In fact, i seldom use telephone at that time. Except when i need to share info with my best friends regarding our study matters. Since i started to work, my life had changed a lot. It seems like a day without my cellphone would be boring and annoying. Nowadays, i always make sure that i bring along my cellphone whenever i am out from my home. Because i can always use my cellphone to call during emergency time. Or to contact someone when there is urgent thing to discuss while i am not at home.

I guess cellphones are pretty much indispensable for people nowadays. It has really hastened communication. Although I'm not the type of person who uses a cellphone too much, I still however am not comfortable not bring it with me since like you said, it is very crucial in times of unexpected emergencies.

Well yes cellphone are important but they are instilled on us just as virises in human body. They need to be carved or we would be there only with our cellphone and not with real people. Can you realize that cellphone did bring people voice closer but in reality people are much farther from each other.

Hi, Yes you are right my friend, cellphones really are very useful to us. It was designed for us to have it as a tool for communication. But as technology drastically changed nowadays, cellphones will not be used already as a mode of communication only because it has also a lot of features added like games, when you get bored, you'll gonna play,a calculator , for you to help in your mathematics hardships,a camera also for all we knew we are fascinated to take pictures every time and everywhere. It is really hard for us nowadays not to have at least one cellphone because I think it is already been added into our necessities in life.

Since communication nowadays is a big factor to maintain safety, security and good socialization, cellphones are really very important. For me I cannot live without it because i use it to contact my mom, my friends, and transactions at work. Cellphones are an amazing partbof tfvhnology that has become indespensable in our everyday lives. We owe much of our communication convenience from cellphones. Thats why i believe that it really is a necessity.

hello santos, although I'm from the Y generation, which supposed to be intact will cellphone all the time, whether messaging, tweeting(I'm not really sure what they actually called it) or even facebooking,I'm not the average teenagers that would spend most of their time on their cellphone. That is just not me. I don't really mind about being the trendiest person in the group using the newest cellphone released.in fact, currently I only use the basic nokia phone.the one that almost the same with the 3310 one.the younger generation of it maybe, because it has radio and torchlight on it. so that's it. but even though I'm not a techie guy as I mentioned before, I would still need cellphone with me.I don't really use it, just I need it with me if there is an emergency or anything. Nowadays cellphone is more a need than a want. So basically, everyone need a cellphone. Happy MyLotting..:)

It would be very difficult for me to manage without a cell phone as my children and I are now in three different countries and I need to make contact and be in contact with them on a daily basis. I need a cell phone to make contact with by boss too as I have a part time job. No, I need my phone

My whole life is on my smart phone. My banking, my calculator, youtube, notes to myself, reminders and so forth... it would upset me greatly if I didn't have a cell phone, but I would learn to get by without it if I had to. I could go back to paying bills with my computer instead of my phone. I could use a calculator instead of my phone, and I could use my laptop for internet instead of my phone. I've had a cell phone since 2001, so I could get used to being without one. I don't work or go to school ... I am at home all the time so there is no pressing need to have one. It's just convenient and we don't have to have a house phone because we have cells.

I'm not really into cellphones that much. It has become a necessity these days though with everyone owning a cellphone. I only have it inside my bag and check once in a while whether there is an incoming message. I know I can bear to live without a cellphone, I have lived half of my life without it and I don't depend my life on it. But, I am aware how important it is to have our own cellphone.

My cell phone just stopped working this morning and I already hate it. Mainly because I'm at home with my baby and have no way of calling anyone if I needed to. I also don't like traveling in a car without a cell phone in case of an emergency. We don't have a home phone just the cell phones so the internet right now is my only means of communication.
