God did not answer my prayer before but not..

He had given me something far far better than what I've for!
I got employed Feb 2009 being contractual(unstable) Two older females got employed few months after me. Fed 2011 (last year) both of them became Casual Employees - meaning higher salary rate and 50% assurance of being regular employees at the office while no movement was done with me.
1st - Contractual
2nd - Casual
3rd - Regular Employee
4th - Promotions and so on
I felt sad, I prayed for that step for too long, I was months ahead of them. I've proven more than them etc.. but I was sad and ask why they got the step and and I was left behind. Mom told me- don't look on things you don't know, instead appreciate what is in you.
So July 11, I was surprised they called me for interview. When it ended, they told me it's for a REGULAR position, meaning- stable! Finally in! And take note, I did not experience being casual instead skip it and straight forward to being regular..I asked God sorry for the times I questioned things happening to me. I kept doing better, staying humble and asking God's guidance.
TOday-- just today @3pm- they called me for an interview. Assessed me,evaluated everything on my Performance Evaluation and Personal Data.. At the end of the interview, finally the Chairman said, I will be promoted from SG 8 - SG10..
In short- I AM PROMOTED! Geeeeeeee I love how God works..
I love Him for the better plans He had for me =))
I envied the 2 females before. The 1 is still a Casual now and the 1 got fired 2 months ago for unsatisfactory performance..Hope they'd have what's better for them too..

thats amazing that you got promoted^^ so your job isnt at risk anymore. you are there to stay. thats so great. its true that sometimes we question god. everyone does that but in the end he always helps us. your mom was right^^ just when we are sad sometimes we cant see that good things can still happen. congratulations

yes:) i love my mom. she has taught me well since I was young
she always say-don't look at what others have, you also have something in you. It may be little but you have to appreciate it :)
Yes it's a sign of security on my career when I got promoted. Just need to keep it up.

Patience is a vitue
You should learn to wait on your turn. If you didn't wait and instead made an extra step to resigned because you are disappointed on the way your Boss did so you did not get the positions you have now.
Expect the unexpected
Sometimes we are expecting something beyond the reality. The best thing we can do, go on and let God made it for us. Time will come, the things you are longing will suddenly given to you without any expectation anymore.

hahaha xD you got me there, I did made a Resignation Letter.
I submitted it to the General Manager's secretary.I was wondering few days later, I still got no word or response of approval. Only to find out, the secretary just hid my letter.
I asked why she did it, she told me she saw my potentials and believed I'm an asset for the office. I told her a part of everything I am is how our office molded me too..
It was part of the unexpected plan for me. Thanks for sharing :) Words of inspiration indeed!
