Payment Processor - Liberty Reserve

Is anyone in the United States a member of Liberty Reserve? I just discovered that it's apparently the only payment processor that a website I just signed up for uses and I'm not sure how legitimate it is. I've only ever used Paypal so I'm a little wary when it comes to using a new payment processor but I'd be willing to try it if enough people say they haven't had any issues getting their money into and out of it. Thanks!

That's a legit payment processor. The online marketing site I'm into uses it thought have not tried it yet since it has higher transaction fees. But don't worry that works fine. From LR also you could transfer your money to your credit/debit card that is a visa/mastercard but that's addtional fees again.

Thank you for the information! It certainly seems that people use this payment processor but it definitely doesn't seem like the easiest one to use and I'm definitely not a fan of having to pay extra fees or having to go through an additional exchange site just to get the money into my paypal account.

As far as I recall it is not "easy" to get your money as checks cost you etc but you can find dealers that can exchange this currency to PayPal for you at a small fee. If you really do need to use this site you can give it a shot as worst case you would lose some hours of work but not lose any real money.

Thanks for the information! As it turns out, the site I needed to sign up for this payment processor is no longer a site I have any desire to continue working with. Hopefully I don't run across many other sits that only have this as their payment processor because from what people are saying it's not the easiest or most convenient processor out there.

My account in Liberty Reserve is OK. No problem although I am not from US
