The 7-year-old Dachshund

My 7 year-old dachshund isn't really romantic with other male dogs. She doesn't even want to mate with them. She just enjoys walking and playing with them. I have another female dog which I adopted from the street, and my dachshund plays with her often. She ends up doing "adult" things with the new dog. Does this mean my dachshund isn't straight? Is it too late for her to mate and produce puppies now?
