I have noticed that my husband talks while he sleeps. I brought some food in our room and when I tried to wake him up to eat it, he said "have a seat, have a seat". Then after a while, he said, "hold a moment, I will just make them stand." And the last was, "I will just do a cash out." There was a time that I have also seen him move, he raised his two hands up. I was doing something with my laptop that moment and tried to wake him up as I find it creepy. When he opened his eyes and his hands still up in the air, he cover his face but I saw his embarrassment. I asked him why he is raising his hands, he said he had a dream that he was being traced by monsters and he was actually trying to strangle one.
Have you seen people who talk and move while they are sleeping? Should we make some precautionary measures about it? Thank you.

I also notice some people has such habit my brother's daughter and my sister's son both has such habit talking while sleeping. My brother's daughter is moving also here and there in sleep. But I think this is danger and therefore we lock all the door.

Yes, there really are danger if someone is moving while he is sleeping. He can really go out of the door and we can't really tell where he will go and that is too dangerous especially if he reaches the road, and if this happen to be a girl, and it was in the middle of the night, we can't really say what can really happen.

I know what you mean, as my husband is a talker as well and there are loads of things that he speaks about.
I have in the past even answered him back a few times when he was chatting and the joke is he has answered me back as well.
I just hate it when a nerve go in his body and his whole body jumps, also if he starts to snore.

Thank you for sharing jugs, it is really funny when they do answer back if you asked them questions. I find it really weird how could they possibly answer while sleeping. That really amazed me. My husband do snore as well and I've tried to record that when we're just newly wed and he can't actually believe it.

Hi there!
Next time if your hubby speaks in his sleep you could record his voice in your mobile and could replay it when he is awake.
I know some people speak while sleeping. Probably they see something in their dreams and react. Sometimes their speech is incoherent.
I think mind of these kind of people keep working even when they are in sound sleep.

Hi dpk, thanks for your response. Yes I guess that when we're having dreams and n that dreams we're too emotional, we really tend to speak. I was wondering if they are getting enough rest if their minds are still working even during they are asleep.

I kind of feel the same now elmiko. As I find myself waiting for him to speak while he's sleeping. I would even try to bump and ask him something and wait if he would answer LOL maybe there's a big secret he is hiding from me and this is the only way I would discover them

My sister acted like that when we are still a child. I saw her raised the bed and walk while her eyes was close and went infront the door. It happened to her specially when she was very tire playing the whole day.
I don't know if until now she still doing the same. She married already and lives another house. Hope she change.

Oh I have just heard some people talking but to walk or move like raising hands nope not yet..
Some people said, the reasons they talk is when they are too tired, or too stressed about something, too excited about something, and yeah too much thinking about something :S
Don't know whichever is true :/

Hi meowchie, thanks for sharing. I've asked my husband about it and told him about it. He said that maybe, he got really frustrate about his previous cashout with his site that he was still thinking about it while he's asleep. You're right, maybe thinking too much about something could make someone speak while he's sleeping.

I have brother when he was a kid always talking in the sleep. Now we life in different place so difficult to me to know if he still have the old habit. I actually has no idea what make him talking. I did ask him why he is talking in the sleep and he said he don't remember anything. This is very weird. I think it's just a game of a dream. I think it's nothing to worry about. Next time if I can have a chance to notice he's talking in his sleep, I will ask lucky number from him. Hahaha

Yes my sister is also talking while she sleeps and the funny thing about that is when I tried talk back to her and she also responded to me..instead of feeling scared i burst into laughter..I told her right away when she woke up..
I guess that they are just dreaming
I also remember that I once dreamed of moving my hand like slapping someone then i just woke up feeling the pain because my hands just slapped the wall..

Hi, thank you for sharing. Yes, they do respond if you talk to them. This is also the case of my husband, I tried to ask him if he said something and he will actually respond. I can relate to your experience, once I dreamed of kissing my crush but realized that I was just kidding my pillow LOL I know that hitting the wall is quite painful so I really hope that won't happen to you again.

I think there is any real danger about people talking in their sleep. I do it occasionally myself. Sometimes a noise will cause a person to speak out loud while they are dreaming, no harm. Case in point years ago I had a roommate that came into the bedroom while I was sleeping to get her brush and she dropped it, she said I pointed right at her and said I'll get my apple back. She used to come in and bump something to make a small noise just to see what I would say and most every time I would say something. We thought it was funny.
Now sleep walking is another matter, someone could actually get hurt doing that.

Hi violann, thanks for sharing. Your experience really made me laugh, I can imagine it and I too find it funny. With regards to sleep walking, you're right that it could get someone hurt. In fact, I've seen my husband's cousin walks out of their house one night while we're spending a vacation in there. I asked her where she's going but didn't bother to answer. I was kind of worried since it was already late that time so I told her father about it and immediately, he rushed to the door and followed the girl. I really can't forget that experience as the girl was already near the subdivision's gate where vehicles are passing by. When his father finally reached the girl, he carry the girl back to their house. I do think that it runs in their family as one of my sister in law is the same, as per my husband. Well, I really hope my husband won't sleep walk as I really find it creepy. I am in fact still uneasy with him raising his hands because I worry that he will mistaken me for a monster and would strangle me while I am asleep. :(

Hi ardoy, thanks for sharing. I guess that it is also the reason why my husband talks while he sleeps. He is so tired this past few days and don't really get enough sleep. I just always ask him to go to bed and just continue with what his doing. I heard him talking again last night while he still asleep.

Hi!
As I'm a sleepwalker I know what you're talking about. I've done some crazy stuff while I was sleeping. Once I woked my roommate up to say that there's a large snake under his bed. I also said we should find it and take it because we'll need it tomorrow. When I got my mind back I felt like a complete idiot. The next day I laughed so hard :) This just happens, I didn't find any reasonable explanations so far.
