Do you agree on this? I believe this is true. This is proven. During our last meet up last Saturday, one of the attendees is with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend, is a previous member of mylot but not active. When he experienced the meet-up/ gatherings, he was motivated to go back to mylot and be active again. He told me personally as the organizer that he enjoyed it and it motivates him to go back here. For you guys, do you think this would a great help for the 246 thousand members to be more active in the site? Let me know your thoughts. thanks for sharing!!happy mylottinG! It might help them but not applied to some members because of our different situations. We are the one handled our schedule so it depend us how we can manage our time and give some of it to myLot. Even I am very busy, I won't forget to log-in myLot. Sometimes just a read mode only.

Schedules and financial status are the basic problems why members can't meet. we have the same situation but i am not happy if i can log in to mylot in a day.sometime also read if i don't find any interesting discussion in the site.

Hello rberon1985, What was his username before? how come we didn't know about it? he should come back because mylot is not just about earning money but socializing and benefitting as well at the same time. well, since the meet up I've been using that occassion as a way to motivate myself to be online almost every single day.

I commented to one of your responses in my post and asked your permission. I am planning to organize a meet up for California members and the meeting place is where you live. how does it sound? are you allowed to accomodate visitors at least 10 to 15 persons? i think it is exciting.

hey wake up.... the whole mylot active members don't even reached that numbers (hahahahaa) be realistic I guess few veteran mylotters already told you that the number shown below is not the real active numbers. Once a member deleted his/her account- it won't deduct the number from mylot population. If a member deleted and created an account 10x- it means the number increases but it doesn't mean it's the actual number of active members. Try to check the active members from Philippines- it never reach to 100 people my friend. Here in metro Manila alone- how many active members do you think are there?

It's really sad to know that those who are more than five hundred post are no longer active in mylot. it's just not fair that they disappear like that. Unfortunately, It's not my responsibility to remember the usernames of those who attended the conference, in fact i knew only two users and their usernames. next time, i will not allow myself to be reminded on who they are..

I believe that there are a lot of different reasons that people have gone inactive on the site. So, depending on the reason that people have become inactive on the site, I do believe that attending a conference where you have the opportunity to meet some of the members in real life would be something that will bring people back to the site. However, this wouldn't necessarily be true for people that have left the site for other reasons. I'm so glad to hear that you had a good time with the conference that you'd organized for this past weekend.

hi rberon, Well I hope an activity like that will help inactive to be more active here but sometimes you need to think the possibilities why they are inactive here. happy mylotting

You have been very active in organizing this and I guess you should be rewarded by Mylot in their bhalf for organizing these meet-ups. I think it can really motivate others inactive once they realize that they are not alone in Mylot and there are like minded people who still have interest in Mylot.

Though some can not attend any meet ups that may happen in the future. This may motivate them to be active inspired by your discussions regarding the meet up that you had just conducted recently. Congratulations rberon for the success. You're such a good organizer. Keep it up.
