Yes, indoor cats do occasionally need some grass. It helps them with their digestion. You can buy grass to plant in alittle platform that is just for you cat. I think most of the major pet sites will have these available. Good luck and enjoy your cat.

I don't know if that is going to do it. These are special low to the earth pots and are easier for the cat to get to the grass.

I often buy it at the supermarket if it is available. Some still prefer the grass outside, but I try not to let them outside for fear they may get hurt. We have a lot of stray cats, squirrels and EEEK! rats running the neighborhood, and I don't want the cats to eat grass outside because of the disease these other creatures carry.

Yes, they sell it with other fresh herbs, in a pot with dirt and all. It's wonderful. In fact i have some seeds so I need to plant some for the little goofies.

We have ornamental and flowering plants in our backyard planted and some grass grow with those plants.
I saw my cat eating some of those grass so I don't pull those kind of grass that my cat ate.

Oneday, my cat (Kaylant) went outside, when i followed him, i saw him ate the wild grass. After that, not long after he was sattisfied, he came back to home. And in front of my home, my cat stay in his place and started get cough a little and then he spit it out, the grass he ate earlier and some smelly liquid.
So, i think cats'll eat grass to get fluency of their digestion and they will find their own grass by themselfes

I have no problems with my two cats since I do have a small garden and my neighbors have small garden patches too with weeds growing out from it. Cats seem to know which grass they need to chew. They love to chew grass when it has rained, I guess the grass tastes better then.

Hello youless, I just let them find it, since we donĀ“t have garden but beside us is the community park and they can go and grave it.
The kittens of 9 weeks just take a few grass that grows in our garage, but eldest ones prefer taking it from the public park.
Blessings youless... dainy
