it's a little early for some people, but never too early for me. i've already started my christmas shopping. for once, my son is ahead. i've always had a hard time figuring out what to get him, but this year it's easier. i've made up my list to get everyone and know how much i'll be spending. now, to get my nieces and nephews set up. i have a general idea and i won't be spending a whole lot on them. on top of all that, i have multiple birthdays as well. so i'm balancing that as well, but i feel good as i got this under control this year. :) :) :) :) i'm proud of my self! i won't be going broke. yay!

I also thing it's never too early. Usually, I started in September to make a list. First, I write down the names of the persons whom I'll buy a present and a calculate how much I will be able to spend for each and an idea what to buy. Then, at the end of the month, I start to buy the gifts bit by bit, some in September, some in October... so I won't spend all the money the same month. Also, at the beginning of December the prices of items are going up getting more expensive. So, I prefer to buy them before that happens.

That's right, with too many people around me I get easily stressed and then I forget part of what I really wanted. So I always try to do shopping out of the rush hour. That's also why I like to shop online. Last year, I bought several gifts in Internet.

Good for you! I wish I could start thinking of what to give to my parents, they are the ones I really care of giving every Christmas. I don't have that much of money that is why. Anyway, it's really good to start our Christmas shopping so we won't be having a hard time when December comes.

it's easy for my mom. she's into wild cats, dolphins, plants and quilts. so i scored with a dolphin quilt, an animal print top and i'll get her a small plant. this weekend we're going to the renaissance festival so i'm sure i'll find something unique for my sisters. of course yardsellr.com has been quite helpful as well.

Good luck with your shopping! Now, I need to figure out how to get presents for my nephews and nieces, especially my son now that I've become lazy going shopping. I know time flies so fast and before I know it, here comes Christmas once again! :(

You're not alone. The spirit of Christmas here in Manila is specially felt during BER months. So in as early as September you could already see and hear Christmas songs, decors and themes on some establishments. Thanks for reminding me that I have a bunch of list to do before the holiday season. I bought most present on some group-buying sites last year so I think I was able to save a lot compared the past years.

You're actually just on track, enough to be able to avoid the Christmas rush that is going to happen every year come December. So far, I have only managed to buy one gift for my sister and that's it. I still have a long list, including my in-laws now. I am so going to be in trouble.
