It's driving me crazy! I've got more than 700 spam emails this months. Most of them contains links, and some of them promising a huge amount of money. But, there was one weird email that I got. On the email written that I could withdraw $5000 from Western Union. The sender's name and the unique number also included on the email. When I checked online, the data was real! Wow! I was thinking whether I wanted to take it or not. But I was afraid that the money would be used for terrorism account or something like that, so I decided not to take the money. Several days later, I checked again om western union's website, and it's said that the money is already taken. hahaha..
What spam emails story that you got?

It seems that once we put our email address on some money making schemes sites, we will be flooded with spam emails. I check and delete them immediately every day as I don't like them to start accumulating and get out of hand. I never ever bother to open any of them.

I've unsubscribed some newsletter that I subscribed before, but still there are so many of spam emails. I think unsubscribing some of them doesn't change anything :(

I rarely, if ever, look at the mail in my Spam folder. Every now and again, I delete it but there is really no need because it is automatically deleted after 30 days.
All the genuine mail I receive goes either into my Inbox or is filtered into an appropriate folder according to rules I have set up. I just have to make sure that I add all of my contacts to my contacts list. Anything not from them goes into the Spam folder.

Sometimes when I checked the spam folder, I found some not-spam emails on it. So, I keep checking it in every few days, maybe once in a week or so. Like today, I checked my spam folder and found an email from my dad's friend. Maybe because I haven't add him in my contact, so his email considered as a spam.

Hi friend, this kind of spam and scam mails are quite common to me, i never give importance to them and delete them after reading the subject line without reading the full mail. Just filter them in your spam folder or ignore such kind of messages if you got it in your inbox

Thanks! I'll start to manage my spam folder. I'm just confused where they got my email. I did subscribe to some newsletter, but not this much. :(

I don't get SPAM mails in my Inbox. And I don't have the habit of reading SPAM mails, I delete them without even reading them. Coming to winning money or amount, I have filters added to my Gmail account, such that the mail gets immediately deleted, i.e. as soon as it reaches my mail id.

Oh. I can relate to this a little. Well, I had an email before. But not really in the spam. I got the email directly in my inbox. She was an African refugee and she is asking me to help her. She has millions of dollars in her account and she is asking for my bank information because she wants to transfer her money. And after that she will go here in my country and get her money again and start all over again. She have to hide the money because if everybody knew that she has it she will be killed and her money will be with the bad guys. Well, honestly I felt pity for her. She even sends me her photo to prove that what she's saying is true. But I opted to ignore her and delete the mail that she sent me before I regret it.

Yeah, I've got that one, too. Some from a girl asking help, some from a grandpa asked me to accept his lots of money, and some others with different story, but it has the same point like that. And all of them are from Africa, especially Nigeria. Why do they have to use that country again and again?

Actually spam mails are disgusting. However those type of mails are scams they will try to defraud you and try to get most you your information as much as possible. Be on the look out for funny websites that try to tell you to let you enter your email address.

I'm sure I get a fair deal of spam a day. Especially from the e-mail account that I use to sign up for websites or did when I was signing up for each and every website under the sun. Of course, at least I had the foresight to use a secondary e-mail address, as opposed to my main e-mail address. So at least my official personal account does not get junked up with everything.
There were some rather amusing spam e-mails in the past, but it's been a while since I've really read them. With the lack of time that I have, there are just many days where its somewhere where I don't have any time to read through them. I'm to the point where I am extremely skeptical about everything that I get in the spam e-mail arena. Even if I have to give them some points for creativity.

My attitude towards spam emails is delete them directly even without a glance. And I think that there are no free lunch in the world,so if I receive the e-mail like yours,I will delete it without thinking.Do not be cheated by those e-mail,otherwise you will pay a lot for that.No free lunch in the world,if you always keep this sentence in your mind then you will make little mistake.

I have received spam emails because nowadays emailbox has the functions of shielding the junk mails. It's better to keep alert when receiving junk emails.
