Does babies has bestfriend too?

Do babies has bestfriend too? I was talking with my 2yr old cousin. I ask her if she has a bestfriend. But she just look at me and smile. I dont what she mean, if she really understand what i'm talking about. I'm really curious about that. Do they really has bestfriend?

I don't think that a 2 year old would understand what a best friend means. In that young age, a child can only understand just a few things. Even a friend, he might not even recognize.

Maybe yes, they don't still know what best friend or even friend means but who knows right? I notice that babies also know who to trust and who is not trust. i mean they doesnt like strangers while they love more people who are always be with them or familiar to them.

True that babies are able to recognize familiar faces but they are not able to brand them as friends or best friends. What they have is their instinct of going to a person that they are often with.

I also think its possible..you know, kids now are so smart. I just wish my daughter's bestfriend would be me and her daddy.

That will hard to tell because babies can't talk and express themselves. If you'd ask does kids ages 2-5 or something have bestfriends, maybe they do. But, it's hard to tell because kids only loves to play with their playmates and can't even tell what best means.

Hi, Her age is very less to express her feelings but obviously, she loves someone more than others. Normally a baby loves her/his mother very much for food, love and care. Mother gets more associated with babies than any other persons. Have a very nice day.

maybe your cousin still doesn't know what is a best friend. 
As far as I can remember I have friends but I can't choose someone who's my best friend. when I was just a kid like your cousin I don't know what is friend actually, all I know is that people around me are all kind that's it.

I think they do , I have met some really mean two year old 
, so if they can be mean they can be kind . I watch my baby cousin not letting certain kids play with her toys so I know she have certain understanding .

I believe they do, it all depends 
on their playtime spending together.
I remembered once, my two year old niece was so excited to see his cousin who always
plays with him. If he is leaving to go home, she will asked him to stay overnight and play some more. Give him her favorite toy and food too.
