Cleaning your house makes you really feel a lot better. I haven't done any research but I know it.
Week ago I cleaned completely my room and organized all things there. I changed some furniture's places to make my room look more roomy. Suddenly I noticed how much brighter my room looked. It really brighten me up. It was a lot easier to do stuff in my room and I didn't feel so lazy anymore.
I hope that this encourage people to be more organized and clean their houses because it changes your mood a lot when you don't have all junk laying on the floor that makes you negative thoughts. :)

This is very true, a clean house does make you feel a lot better. I don't function well at all if my house is messy. A lot of people who are in a bad mood would be amazed at how much better they would feel if they would just clean up.
Recently I went through some emotional stuff with a friend of mine. I neglected my housework and a lot of other things to deal with his issues. My house had gotten so messy I felt like I could not function.
In order to heal myself, I decided to let my friend deal with his own issues. I felt better after I let him go, but I really started feeling much, much better when I started cleaning my house and tending to all of my neglected housework. The cleaner my house is, the better I feel.

I always like to be in a clean house, and I hate it when things are untidy or messy. One of the things that I hate about my partner's flat is that he doesn't really keep it all that clean and tidy. It upsets me because of the fact that I have to do all of the tidying up when I get to his because it is something that he will never do. There is nothing better than getting up in the morning and knowing that your house is going to be lovely and tidy for the whole of the day. I don't think that I would ever want to live in a messy house again.

I don't enjoy tidying up and cleaning I find it really boring.I had to tidy my room up the other day as it was an absolute tip,not the most fun way to spend the weekend .But I do prefer my room being clean and tidy than being messy. When your room is tidy you can find things a lot more easily and it makes it feel like you have a lot more room. This is particularly important for me as my room is absolutely tiny. So even the smallest amount of mess is a pain.

I agree 100% with you. When I come home and the apartment is messy I am less motivated to get up and do the things I need to do such as extra work time, ordering new things or financials(investments, new ventures etc). When a person has a clean environment it also shows on who they are and what they are all about(in a good way).

Ive always been a clean freak. I try and clean everysingle day. I even carry a cleaning rag in my hand and wipe things off when I see something dirty. My mom ( rest in peace) taught me that way.

You don't need to do a research for this. Everybody knows that a clean house relates to the positiveness. Its always good to rearrange the things in your room for some change. This can actually free up some space in your room. A clean house with well arranged things always leaves a good impression on the visitors.

We've been workign on this but it's hard to decide what to do with all this stuff that we have. Most of it we use, so it's hard to just throw it away. And then I think I will try to sell some of it, but I don't know how to and it wouldn't make very much money. Some of it I will donate. We really do need to get rid of a lot of this junk though.

I agree with that, it definitely make some differences in your mood and make one's spirit uplifted a bit while staying inside the house, the negative thought is significantly lower for the residents, a clean environment promote positive karma.

Yes...It's true. Maybe because, if we see that our places is clean, we will have a clear mind also. So therefore, we can think and relax in any endeavor that we will have to do...

I try to keep the house as clean as possible, but with my tough school schedule and taking care of my husband it is hard to do. I am hoping that things will calm down soon so I can set a schedule to clean house. I cleaned last night and it felt good, but it took a while because it had been a month since I cleaned house.

Yeah, I know how it is to live in such a messy place. I have help who comes every other day but she is lacking in cleaning skills. I always have to tell her to do this and that every single day. So I am not happy with her performance, our house is still not clean in spite of her service because she does not know how to clean and I am always busy I can't always be around to tell her what to do. I just wish I had someone who knows how to really clean and organize things.

Hi Scupp, I totally agree with you....I have a bad habit of
collecting my mail on my bed and sleep with in on there..The
very day that I decide to go through the mail and clean off
my bed, my mood changes...when my bed is so mail free I just
feel my bedroom is so brighter after changing my comforter..
Clean is always brighter...But I don't do the junk on the floor
thing,,,I am an older adult and do not want any accidents by
stumbing on anything on the floor...

There is nothing better than a clean place. If everything is in order, it will surely brighten up your day and those people around you. There is peace of mind and everything will be light if cleanliness is practiced.

I can't live in a messy place.
No offense meant but I just can't breath with a messy place.
I am a well organize person, I want my things on its proper places all the time.
I don't want my place to look like a warzone.
