I am currently experiencing a lasting cycle of depression. This is not as bad as some prior bad cycles that I have had, but its not fun.I am wondering from people what has and what has and what hasn't helped your long term bouts of depression?

So sad...but I think you just have to stay focus in every goal that you have in mind...be happy always...and be with your friends always! They will make you laugh!

If u r a female, I should say depression frame of mind will increase ur number of wrinkle, so quit feeling sad if u want to look better when u r getter older; If u r a male, I suggest to cultivate a hobby at least and adhere to do it, every time when u come across a depression, stop doing that and make urself turn to that hobby. I believe only if u insist can u succeed.

I have been in that stage for about a year. It was really a struggle. I was trying to suppress the feeling coz I do not want to disturb my parents about it. I just wanted to get out of it on my own. I never realized how much it has affected me physically coz after leaving the house for 4 months, when my eldest son saw me, he told me that I looked like 10 years older. I was thin and haggard looking. Maybe it was because of too much thinking and crying most of the time. One day, I just realized that I might be just on the verge of having a nervous breakdown. I got really scared. So what I did was to stay away from thoughts that would make me feel depressed. It was difficult at first. But thinking of my kids, I was able to overcome it.

When I feel depressed I go see my family. Having family around me helps me feel better. Dont stay alone, talk to someone. it will help you. Have a great day there.

What help me the most is my wife. she's gotten me through the best of time and the worst of times. other thing that help are things like listening music and watching movies. Happy mylotting!

talking to someone who you can share your thoughts with always help, wake up early morning and go out for a little run it makes ur mind fresh and would help to end that lasting cycle.
