way too hot "ber" months in the Metro

We have entered the second month of "BER" months, and though we have anticipated that El NINO is one factor that our weather has been in a changing pattern for the longest time. Still no one can't stand how painfully hot it is in this time of the year. Apart from having an early sunset before 6 pm, and all the Christmas displays being sold all over the Metro the air is not so "BER" at all - my eyes have been too dry for the next couple of minutes and my eyes have to produced tears just to maintain the proper wetness of my eyes to see properly. It's way too hot and it's messing with Christmas anticipation.
How about the weather in different parts of the Philippines? Are you feeling the BER months like it should be?

We are experiencing extreme weather conditions for the past weeks. The heat during the afternoon could be really horrible! It is like the heat in summer!

Yes I also observed especially early in the morning the heatwave may have subsided a bit from the summer heat but still it is not that cool as expected. I hope that it will be way cooler in the coming days since I know that countries in the North are starting to cool down already.

It's already called in Davao but unfortunately I cannot experience it by this time because I am now here in Manila while waiting my flight for abroad. It's been called already in Middle East but here still hot.
I saw the news last night, they are projected that the ber months climate will start either end of October or 1st week of November.

My brother who is based in Northen Luzon province told me that the weather there is not the same as it should be. I'm living in the metro, and I feel that it is still summer. So hot in here. I hope it will be cooler in the next few weeks. I'm positive. Thanks

yes you are right, ber months is the start of cold season here in the Philippines. The coldest temperature in Baguio was recorded every December to February of the month and peaks mostly in January. Since we are still at the start of ber season I think what we are experiencing is just normal. I live here in the north of Luzon that's why I have observed this through out the year.

Temperature-wise, not at all. You said it, it's way too hot for this time of the year. It's like summer. But I don't let this hotness and humidity sear out my festive mood. I've always been excited about the BER months, anxiously counting the days before Christmas. It would've been much better though if we could feel the coldness in the morning and evening breezes, like in the years before.

Yeah its really freaking hot today. We went out this lunch and experienced terrible hotness of the sun even though we already used umbrella. Last night, the weather is quite okay and the wind blows cool air so I do have great sleep. Nevertheless, its still super hot here today.

Oh yeah, it doesn't seem like it is already October now here in my part of the country. We have readied our sweaters, jackets and swetashirts but we haven't used them since September. It did dropped in temperature for a couple of days but then it spiked up again and it feels like it's the middle of summer! Not to mention the occasional rainshowers. We are also experiencing some crazy weather here.
