If I work 8 hours a day here

I understand that, many people around the world are having to do this. Can you get a part time job and still go to school? Id hate to see you lose your education. Good luck to you there.

You are not going to make millions on mylot but when you get the twist how to do it can give some pocket money. Hope you can finish your schooling sometime in the next future, money is always in question, when you are not well off.

Just think about this. Its not about the hours you work here but how active in those 8 hours you are going to be. If you can do 50 responses in the 8 hours you can have one dollar in your account the next morning. You can do 50 resposnes but dont just write one line or two lines and thing your going to make a dollar you actually need to write a paragraph or do more than 50 responses. You can earn more than one dollar if you do 50 responses and start some dicsussions as well.

I hate to burst your bubble, but I don't think you would earn a lot in this site, and I think most members realize this. We're here primarily to have fun discussing issues and stuff. Earning is secondary. Personally, I'd rather look for work in the real world. You could still be active here even if you're working

It is hard to work online. The best is still to buy items and sell them on auction sites like ebay

I hear ya there. I work and go to school so I am just doing this on the side for extra money but I just started this yesterday and I got one penny for a very short post so it depends on how much your post, if you get responses back you get extra money, and if you do tasks. You get paid for everything you do though which is good. So i am going to start doing this as much as i can, atleast 3hrs a day. So if i can manage to do 100 posts a day then thats $10 so $70 a week. Don't know if i can swing that but im sure gonna try. I love to post! Write back!

First of all, myLot is not "work". You could spend 8 hours here and earn nothing at all if what you do during that 8 hours is worth nothing. MyLot is not about quantity but about quality and I suggest that you read the FAQs to understand that correctly.

In my opinion, spending hours here is not worth the time. This place pays too low and too slowly for the time spent. You have to consider what you feel your time is worth when you think of working for an income. You want to make money that would bring you that type of income. This site is better for some extra income rather than income that would pay your bills and support you. I've never made even $1 a day here but then I don't spend more than a couple hours on any given day. But then you think, $1 for a couple hours work? It's not worth that to me. So to be here has to have more of a draw than just the money. There are other places to write online that will pay you to do so. It might take more time to get the income but you also have chances to write more quality as well and if you have talent in writing, or creativity, you can do a lot better. I like this site just for that extra income that comes along as well as the chance to discuss things I like to talk about with other people and learn of their opinions on things. But if you are just looking for money, this site won't pay your bills in a way that would keep you going in place of another job. You won't even make a minimum wage here even if you spent 24 hours a day here. And nobody can do that. You have to stop to eat and sleep sometimes. LOL

i do not know if anybody can tell you that because the earnings are being calculated with a formula that only the admin knows. besides, you will earn but not much as you expect it to be. why not try hubpages?

Earning through Mylot isn't that much if you would solely rely on it as a source of income. I think that most comments that you can do is about 100 in a day. But you need to provide real good comments and avoid replying on posts that is against the discussion guideline otherwise they would just be deleted.

Hi, I hope you got your answer but still I will advise you to get some scholarship for your studies if you can't pay it. Try to get financial help from the institution because here you will not earn that much, even if you work 12 hours a day. You can increase your writing skills here and may make some new friends who may help you or you might help them. Don't come here for earnings only.

I want you wont ignore your education. No better than education. You will have lots of time to earn online and offline. At any cost you should carry on your study. Anyway online income is so little worthy of being ignored. If you have lots of spare time you may try to earn online. Mind it that earning online should not be any fascination to who is carrying on study at the moment.

Join MyLot for other reasons than making money. You will not get paid at all until you accumulate $10 and that can take a lot of time. It is better to look for part time or short term work. Ask some of the other students what they advise, as I am sure that you are not the only one needing to increase your finances.

I think when you just only want earn money that will difficult to get money. If you want be a succesfully person , you have to put like a job, and make the job as fun and a means to share your power , your mind with others. Thus making very high quality of work . Meanwhile the money will follow you.

i think the maximum you can earn working 8 hours here is maybe 2 dollars^^ the best way is: create discussions, attach images to it ( we can upload i think 15 images per day but upload till it says you cant upload more, they warn you), and reply to people who answer your discussions^^ and comment also in others discussions. that way i think you can earn 2 dollars per day^^

Just spending 8 hours here will not work. Keep in mind if you really want earn from this site you must post the qualitative post. Quantity does not play the major role here in taking part in number of discussion. I know you will be in a position to take part in discussion and if did it nicely then I am sure spending 8 hours will be worth other wise it is waste.

Start quality discussions, comment on as many of your responses as you can (do not simply say "thank you", you won't get paid for this) and hope for the best. But first, read the FAQs and guidelines. You'll be doing yourself a big favor. Good luck!

If you are really looking for some forum posting that pays, you can try getting it at postloop. But it really is pretty hard to be a member of that site so I suggest you research it well. If you want an on line full time job, you can work at legit sites like oDesk, Guru, Elance, iWritter and other chat services like text121 and newmediaservices. At first, my goal here is to earn, but I guess I'm just here to help and have some friends now ^_^ happy mylot
