Is rice deprivation can lead to something bad or a little bit nasty to our health? Can I zero the intake of the rice? I really want to cut off some of pounds. What type of diet is the most effective in shorter period of time? and for the people like me, who hates exercising that much...

There is nothing wrong if you want to cut down on rice. But you must be aware that our body needs to have a balanced meal everytime- Carbohydate, protein and vitamins and minerals. You can substitute rice with pasta or white bread. To totally cut off carbs from your diet is unhealthy.

Hi. Yes, I think yes, as long as you have a replacement for rice, like potatoes or bread. The one which has carbs. I think we really need it. Or just miknimize the intake of rice. I am on a diet now too. I am taking Nutrimeal by Usana. It is a meal replacement program. It's a shake that you have to drink for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Instead of eating a meal, you are just going to drink the shake as a replacement. You'll see the changes. Search it over the net and you'll find good reviews. It's a bit pricey though. But, still exercise. That will make your body have the shape that you want. I wonder if you don't exercise while you are on the diet, it could loosen your excess fats.

Hi, Marsfire05. You know, just take it easy. What's unhealthy is losing a lotta pounds in a matter of week. A healthy one would be a max of 2 pounds per week. If you're not into exercising, it's best to really cut on rice. If you can do without it, then better. Because with women, it really is the culprit. Actually, be careful with carbs. Go for protein. And, to help, I'd suggest drink green tea and pineapple juice. If you're a sweet tooth, you gotta discipline yourself to limit your intake of sugar, sweets and chocolates. Be careful with chips, as well. Go for fruits and veggies, instead. And, to help more, just do hula hoops or jumping rope about 15 minutes thrice a week. That's already gonna help. ^_^

Hi sharsfin. I will go with the veggies and fruits. but I am quite curios with the fruits, they are kinda sweet so therefore they may have their sugar contents. Is it or should it is in minimal intake or it will just be alright since they are organic eh?

I recommend that you take usana's nutrimeal products. My friend and my mom's friend have been using this for just 5 days without exercise and they lost 6-7lbs just for that 5 days. It's safe and effective because it is very well researched by great scientists in salt lake city, utah

Honestly, we can't do diet alone without doing exercise, by doing so will lead to some things that can weaken our metabolism, it is always a recommendation that when we do diet it also needs physical activities in order to our body system cope up when we want to reduce extra pounds with our body, well generally a vegetarian diet will be the most effective and healthiest way to do you plans in diet, plant based and natural food that we will intake internally to our body to eat will make us become healthy and lessen our risks and getting prone to many types of diseases and sickness, so manage to have a vegetarian diet plan a week in a month of course we need to cleanse our body from toxins that are deposited in our body system, not only the benefit of cleansing but also makes our blood clean. hope this may help you specially this coming season that we can't stop ourselves to eat foods.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your issue very well. I think just by starving yourself to get a good figure is a wrong concept and u should never even contemplate to do it. In order to get a good figure, always try to have a balanced diet even if that includes rice, always try to take out time to do some walking and exercises and have lots of water. It is that simple do not make it more complicated for u. What say?

Does having cold water have something to do with the growing belly fats? I heard somewhere that drinking cold water right after a meal contributes the increasing waist line. Is this true?

As much fruit and vegetables can help you lose weight. The more natural the better. And alot of exercise. Water is good to get the toxins out of the body. Hot peppers are good for losing weight. Anything that keeps your metabolism at peak performance. Don't skip meals but eat a good diet.

My office mate had her diet also to decrease her weight and to decrease her blood sugar. What she did was, she ate every day a lot of fruits and raw veggies. It is a total sacrifice for not to eat cooked rice for she used to eat that everyday. Try to consume fruits and raw veggies in a day and avoid fatty foods.
