Hello Lotters, It seems another possible good news is about to emerge. knowing it also that it's election i guess they're gonna try to have it legalized then. but know this, the bill is only for Public College's Schools. I think if there is a real first step towards free education, this will be the first. i hope it does pursue. However, there is a price to this, that means more students in Public College's and still lack of teachers, they should match it in terms of having equal number of teachers. What Do you think?

The government should allocate more budget for the education than the any other thing. It's the most important that most of our parents specially like us who are not capable in sending their children in different private colleges. Of course, they should make a balance that the students won't suffer because of lack of teachers

Hello Julyteen, the positive side of this is that those who can pass but can't pay can finally get a chance of education in public schools. but there is a concern of rising of the students in colleges. though free entrance exam but not free from college expenses during school years. but its a good start

I am a product of a public university and I was free in all tuition fees. Imagine, in one semester I only paid 20 pesos for the school publication. I think UP did it to most of their students.

I also wish that this bill will be passed, because if we think about it, there are a lot of public universities in the country and if all of them will allow students to get the entrance exam for free, then that will be a great savings for the Filipinos. In regard to your opinion that there should be more teachers and facilities to accommodate the growing population of the students in our country. If that can be done, we are also improving the quality of education as well.

Hello watchamacallitz, there should have been more teacher's first. then, programs can easily implemented in making education far more affordable. because this will put more pressure to the teachers who handles more than just 40+ students, it's not easy and i think they are just doing it just to impress the public with out thinking if the public schools can benefit

Hello lady1993, Same here I am no longer affected by it. however, if I started enrolling in a public state university, then it will good for me. yes, it will definitely help a lot of students who wants to study in a public university. but the question of so many students requires an equal ratio of teachers.

This is actually good. Free entrance exams. It's funny though that in Bandila last night, they showed pictures of Private Universities but the news were for State Universities. Haha!

Hello Knicnax, Yeah i think those private Universities should file a complain because it was aiming at the Universtiy states. that's the problem sometimes when their not too organized. this time they made a mistake. anyways, it's good for those who can't afford to pay the entrance fee
