It is very unlikely that MyLot will add another payment processor. The list of countries which MyLot is allowed to pay is determined by the US Government, not by PayPal. It happens to coincide very well with the countries which are supported by PayPal, however, so it is convenient for MyLot to use PayPal only. The number of people who would benefit if MyLot added Payza would actually be very small and not worth the extra expense. Using more than one payment processor involves more time and expense maintaining accounts in both and selecting which one to use. It is simpler and cheaper to use just one payment method.

Many sites do have multiple payment methods available. Unless myLot has officially stated that it is unlikely they will ever add another payment method, I think you're being overly pessimistic. As I'm sure you remember, myLot used to have Moneybookers available as a payment option and only dropped it when MB exited the US market (it seems like they may be planning on reentering it rebranded as "Skrill" according to their web site). I personally think it would be a good idea for myLot to add another online payment processor that covers more of the huge swathe of countries PayPal does not support (such as much of Africa) as well as to add a check option for those who prefer it. Obviously, such a move would not be free of time or monetary costs so I'm not surprised myLot has been slow in adding alternate payment methods.

@ echomonster: I suggest that you explore the discussions of 'Crash' for definitive answers to this: http://www.mylot.com/Crash As far as I am aware, the answer has always been that MyLot 'do not have any immediate plans to add another payment processor'. There is no particular reason, after all, why they should (from their point of view).

I can actually think of a couple of reasons why myLot should add another payment option from a business point of view. Firstly, what's good for myLot users is good for myLot itself -- adding more payment options encourages a wider variety of users to stick around and post which in turn brings in more traffic. Secondly, PayPal has been known to freeze funds and even suspend accounts mysteriously and abruptly. While a reputable company like myLot should be able to go through the appeals process and get reinstated when funds are frozen in error, this would still take time and disrupt payments...having multiple payment options would make such an event much less devastating.

i don't know may be even the script to calculate and transfer money on mylot is more comfortable using paypal...anyway i always find comfortable with paypal so for me receiving on paypal is ok also because in the majority of cases all money i receive using an e-wallet i use paypal...payza in many cases it can be just another option if paypal is not available or the system had problems due to the strict paypal policies! So in general i prefer and vote paypal as payment processor!!

Payza based in Canada and myLot Headquarters located in USA. Preferably they will used Paypal because it also based from USA. If there's problem they can easily sort it out because they are from the same country. Paypal is the most secure and accepted worldwide except those country who are very strict on their monetary board. Paypal accept all credit cards unlike Payza only VISA card. Although before they accept Mastercard but the stop it last year due to subsequent problems they encounter. It's been discuss here many times but still myLot didn't added Payza and Liberty Reserve to their payment processor.

Payza isnt a very good payment processor. I live in Mexico, when I try to send a payment from Payza I get a message saying you cant send money to that country from california usa. Guess what, i live 3600 miles from california usa. So I dont want anything to do with payza.

I don't know why myLot only linked Paypal as there payment method. Probably because Paypal has more reputation compared to other payment carriers, and Paypal has so many success banking transfers. This is just my opinion i don't know if others have the same thought as i am experiencing.

Payza aren't as good as Paypal, also they have a horrible fees for every transaction. I prefer Liberty Reserve rather then Payza.
