Krusty the Clown (The Simpsons) said the one true religion was "something between voodoo & Methodist" when he- and all the other celebrities Homer killed-came back from Celebrity Heaven to reign vengeance upon Homer. I wouldn't say out-loud that any religion is "wrong," but rather that it's 'not our way'---our way being 'right' (right only for us, maybe; but how am I supposed to teach the children 'right-&-wrong' if I'm not absolutely right? ), that makes any other way 'not right.'

In every way we do, the doctrines learned from a Roman Catholic. I had learned to practice the humility from within. There is no need to be selfish or greedy, you need to share the things you have, there will be more blessings to come.

Hi jhovarie, It is because religion indoctrinates their followers. In most cases they are always being reminded that they alone are right. Now there are some religions who respect the teachings of others and teach that there can be different ways. Religion is a big thing to many people, so it's no wonder that with so many religions claiming to be the only true one, that the world is in the mess that it's in today.Perhaps we would be better off without religion. Logically: either all religions are correct and God doesn't care what we believe or what we do or there is only one true religion and all the rest or false. Do you agree with this argument so far?

each of us takes a responsibility of our spiritual life. so there is no way I can save anyone else except myself. Speaking of salvation, that is why we discuss them everywhere. People argue. The Bible is open for interpretation of everyone that is how we become divided.

It is because they think religion will saved them. The truth is religion will not saved them, but people will be saved through God alone though we have different concept of God in society.
