Let's help to save Mother Earth

There are a lot of different ways to help save mother earth. One of is is planting trees. Also, we should be responsible enough with throwing our trash to the proper bins and not just anywhere. Less use of plastics is also a very helpful way.

It baffles me that plastic bags should be replaced by paper bags since paper bags require trees, right? Or is there a way to recycle paper..? I'm not sure anymore since technology is moving fast these days. There was some sort of implementation here in the Philippines that plastic bags should be replaced by paper bags, especially for fast food chains. They now deliver using paper bags. I understand the concept -- plastic bags clog the drainage systems compared to paper bags that's why using paper bags is more favorable.

actually, i think the earth can take care of its own. it's the inhabitants that needs helping. but don't get me wrong, i support the green and clean advocates. it's just that they give the wrong title to the campaign. about a billion years ago, there was a new type of gas that was newly formed in the earth's atmosphere. this gas caused the present inhabitants to eventually die out. this gas was oxygen. see. it was once dangerous for the present living things. but it supported a new type of lifeform as we are today. so, if so ever our negligence would cause a new type of atmosphere, it is us the inhabitants who'd die. but the earth would just be the same planet as it is. i think "save the ecology" would be more appropriate than "save the earth".

We must act now before its too late. I believe we have so much we can do to help, to lessen the impact of doing things that destroy our environment. i agree in the "no-plastic bag" policy for we know that those plastic materials cannot be dissolve through processing. Eventually that could clog our drainage and can lead to floods that destroys life and property. I hope I can do something even how simple it is. Thanks.

Everyone should take part on saving mother earth. We can contribute to it by simply segregating all our trash for us to determines which ones can still be recycled and reused again. Also, minimizing our carbon footprints, if you need to go a store or somewhere and its is just walking distance, why not walk.You see, you get a chance to workout at the same time you are saving mother earth.

I think that it is very important that people make the effort to save the planet that we live on, because we only get one chance to live and we should be making sure that we have left the planet in the best state possible for those who live on it after us. One of the things that we should all do is to make sure that we're thinking about the little things in life that we could do to help, such as recycling, because this means that not as many things are being wasted and it means that things can be reused which saves money.

Saving the world should start in the household. I think it is good to teach the kids as early as 3 years old to know how to help make a healthy environment. If we instill in them these things, they will surely have a better place to live in in the future.

yes of course everyone should take certain steps to save mother earth. Even though the plastic bags are banned , and people are advised to carry cloth bags from home, i barely see people doing that. They still using plastic bags and the Government has to be strict in this issue.

Hi tine! Yes everyone of us should do our part in order to help save the earth. Our department together with other agencies are working together in the implementation of the Solid Waste Management Act. We are also happy for the positive response we get from the people. There is also this tree planting activity that aims to replace the lost trees in our place. I hope we all do our part. Have a nice day!

Yes it takes a little to avoid pollution but the effects are alarming.
