Squidoo is tough. I noticed that it is more focused on selling things. I prefer other sites.

I started at a site called article gate. The rules on grammer arent to strict. Its only been around 2-3 months. bUt Ive been paid by them. Have a great day there.

Yes there is no doubt that mylot is of great help. I have also mentioned that on various occasions in the discussions before. The people are very helpful here and I have been able to solve a considerable amount of queries regarding my computer problems. I had no where to go then. Mylot came to my rescue. I enjoy reading the discussions and get knowledge about various other topics as well. Well coming back to the writing, if you are inspired enough to work seriously, then you can easily achieve. Some madness is necessary to set the ball rolling. Good luck, mate!

Ok ladies, I am thrusting myself into your discussion, but I cannot help myself. Like Aries, I was also slow to start off. It was difficult getting to write an article. Even writing a 300 word article was not easy for me. I made a lot of grammatical mistakes as well. It was indeed a frustrating time for me. However, I persisted with the writing. The good thing was that my English was not really that bad. So, I could manage to have some articles online. Then I stumbled upon a forum like mylot. That also helped me increase my confidence. I had the option of signing up for sites that were not too harsh on the writers. Eventually, my efforts are now paying off. I have more than 400 articles on EC, have written hundreds of articles as a ghost writer and I have a blog where there are more than 1000 posts already. I am happy that I could do this. Why can't you, my friend?

Hi abhi! Congratulations for the great achievement! I think you are really a very skillful writer. Personally, I work as a full time public servant and it is really hard for me find a time to develop a good article, I mean lots of good articles. I am already very happy if I could write a short article about what happened in my day to day work or experience. I hope I could also do that. I will try my best to write more this weekend. I think as writer too many times we tend to be too critical of ourselves. It is like we feel we have to be perfect writers. The truth is that writing is an art that is all about expressing ourselves in a way where we effectively convey our message to our intended audience.

I thought the same as you. But we write better than we think we do.

Also its better to write from the heart. To many think to much about what they are writing about.

@scheng1, I can easily agree with you scheng1. I have been writing online for around three years now. I know what the meaning of the word 'motivation' is. It is indeed a big thing in the life of a writer who needs the inspiration to continue consistently. From my experience, I can say that I easily get complacent and lose the focus. I am sure there might be some people out there who would agree with me. Trying to fight complacency and procrastination are the biggest challenges for someone who is writing for revenue sharing sites. The hunger of the internet is insatiable. The more you fee it (with articles) the hungrier it becomes. I guess, it is indeed difficult to produce quality content on a regular basis. However, one can at least continue with the flow, even if it is thin.
