Patience is a virtue. It is difficult to attain. One needs maturity, understanding, and capable of love. He must be God-fearing too and loves God dearly. Losing one's patience is like losing one's mind and control. A person might lose his patience to some bad actions repeatedly done to him such as bullying or cursing him, a child who has tantrums, a difficult person to be with, or losing patience on hardships in work or life. If somehow, one is losing patience, just simply stop and be in silence and take a deep breath. Be understanding, apply love, and think God. Have you lost your patience once in your life? How did you overcome it?

Patience is a virtue...which I don't have sometimes, haha! But I can safely say that I am more patient now than when I was younger. Whenever I think that I am close to losing my patience over someone, I try to put myself in that person's shoes and I think, if I'm in her situation, I would appreciate it if the people around me would be more patient and more considerate. And that helps me keep a tight rein on my temper. Of course there will always be instances wherein we can help it. For me, one good way to "try" my patience is when something messes up and I haven't eaten anything yet or I haven't had any decent sleep.

Patience is something that a lot of people just don't have, and I am one of the people who definitely struggles with it. I have a partner who annoys me at times, and one of the things that I have found that I do is lose my temper far too much with him. I need to think about ways that I could improve my patience, but I don't know how long it will take for me to be able to do this due to the fact that I am struggling so much. I know that he loves me and I love him, but I struggle to show him that without being angry all of the time.

Hi edvc,
You are right, patience is a virtue and it is a very difficult one indeed.
It requires alot of understanding and love is definitely another component. I have definitely lost my patience more than once in my life and i think your post is a very good one because it serves as a reminder to all of us that we need to exercise patience in our daily life.
Most of the time i lost my patience and i really need to work on this.

I used to lose my patience all the time. I have learned to be more patient in everything. I think i was that way before because of all the stress from my marriage.

Hi!
I've known someone who always lose his patience because he does not have a child. I think the root of it is stress just as you have said. First thing to do is to get rid of stress, go for counselling and pray for it. Hope everything will go well.
Have a nice day!

During my youth, patience is strange word to me.
I easy get provoke, angry and upset.
But as I get older and matured.
I have calm down, and retain my composure even in more distress situation.
I think age make us more reasonable and compassionate.
Have a nice evening.
Ciao!

I always do, even in simple things. Like you said, it would really take time and of course, self discipline to achieve that. I am learning little by little and was able to avoid some troubles lately. Like they say, you're not being to be be annoyed or irritated over someone or something so let us not waste our time for that.

I honestly have very little patience. And I tend to blurt out everything and usually I say very hurtful things. I am trying to overcome it by being more understanding and more calm in handling situations. It's a very hard task to do, but it is worth it.
