Pretty tough I used to live in India and you couldn't get a single government job done without bribing someone. But now I have shifted to Sweden and so far I've not seen a single case of corruption yet. And my dad has been here for 4 years, he says that there is no corruption here. Lets hope so.

Well I'm not sure whether its corruption free or minimal corruption. But ever since I moved here a lot of paper work is to be done and all were done easily and fast without bribery.

Hi sunny: Human ambition is present everywhere even in the most educated countries in the world. You can't completely regulate it because people are greedy and if they have the power they'll feel the temptation to take the money of the people and abuse of their autority.

I think it is really difficult to erradicate corruptions. It happens all over the world, if it happens the changes will take a long time. I hope it will change the wrong notions about corruptions.

New Zealand is the least corrupt country in the world. This is according to Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index. But it does not mean that there is no corruption there. It just means that there is little corruption in New Zealand compared to other countries. So to answer your question, no, I don't know any place where corruption hasn't started. I don't think such place exists, to be honest.

Hi sunny5u,
you don't really hope that we have faced corruption, do you
I suppose nowadays it is not a mistake to say: politics = corruption. Of course not only politics is full of curruption. Everywhere where people have some sort of power they abuse their power and that is corruption. It almost seems that corruption has become a lifestyle for many people. Unfortunately the more corrupt people exist the more the honest people have to suffer. But that system is damned to fail at a certain point. When everyone has become corrupt at the latest because who's gonna be the scapegoat, who's gonna be the peon, who's gonna be your friend if everyone is corrupt?

Hi stk, most of the people say politics is the starting stage but when start why didn't we stopped it and again we are, following it. Nothing comes from outside. Actually when I went to a company to check my work and complete it but there the lower cader person said that if you give me bribe I will complete your work or else your work doesn't complete at all. That made me feel bad. Thanks for the response.

there are places where corruption is not present but I assure you that there are only few of it as corruption is so widespread in our times. It is so great shame for those people who do this thing. They have no conscience and they view money as their lord.

Corruption maybe rampant to especially countries belonging to the third world . Japan is an exceptional for honesty is being uphold by majority. Observe their stores , no one watches , just leave the money then get the commodity. If same situation happens in some place maybe all the goods would be stolen. Japan gave stress to the value of honesty.

corruption is everywhere. bad and good people are everywhere. what matters is what the society does about it. is the society glorifying in it, making profit from it, or does it frown on it, and push the perpetrators to the underground? the latter are countries we think have no corruption.
it is everywhere.
