Have you ever tried to make your own recipe?

hi, actually i am not that interested in cooking but there were times that i need to cook for my food,and i still never try to create a dish in my own recipe because i am not that knowledgeable in cooking,i usually look to internet if i have a dish that i want to cook.

Still not try to make my own recipe but my mother love to make various types of dish and applying their own recipe.

I love throwing things together and calling it mine. The only bad thing about throw together recipes is that it's hard to remember what the recipe is if you want to make it again or if someone asks. I so far have not had anyone put something I've made down. Just to pat myself on the back...I make the best homemade salsa...lol.

I have't, although I'd love to try. But, I just can't imagine how it would taste if I were the one to invent my own recipe. I don't have the hands of a good cook and I really don't know any recipe at all . I'm laughing hard while typing this, imagining what it would be like. Hmmm..my mom is away for the All souls day, I might be trying my own recipe and see what ingredients we have at home. Hope my siblings will eat it

I love to make my own recipe whenever I have the urge to cook. When my friends ask what what's the name of my recipe I give them my recipe usual name "maskipops" or "anyhow" but more than ever they love them. I believe if you know the basic of cooking making your recipes only needs your imagination and taste buds. Have a great day. Ciao!

Hello, I've once tried to make a recipe, but you know, it was really really bad :D. It tasted not really good and the look of the "food" ( i don't know if i could call it food) was terrible. I don't know who pushed me in this "research" of new recipe. But you know, I'm glad i tried. Happy myLotting!

I make my recipes most of the time because I use everything I have in the fridge and all leftovers. Once in a while I get inspiration from recipes in a book or online. Only yesterday I was very mad because I could not find a recipe for leek soup that I had saved at the computer. I had pulled the leeks already so there was no going back. So I made my own leek soup and it tasted wonderful. My family and friends love my cooking so I invite fairly often.

Hey Metatronik! The kinds of recipes I've created on my own is a bit odd. For instance, I love taking multi grain bread and toasting it. Spread cream cheese and slice some berries and put them on top. I usually do this for bagels, but I do it with bread and it's an awesome breakfast. It is difficult to create your own recipes, but don't ever stop trying to be creative. Someone else's yuck can be someone's yum!
