I finally found someone!

It sounds a bit weird.. you have a year of heartaches and pain and start a new relationship??? If you are not over an old relationship it's not a great idea (also not very honest) to start a new one. But I assume you mean it different as it is written down here. I hope you are really happy and in love and stop seeing problems already (culture difference, distance, etc etc). If you already start with that it will surely be a hard year for you! So keep focused on what is positive, on the end goal (being together/having a future together) and invest your time, energy, love into that for the year till he is back. So you can say you invested in your futures as well and not only he is. And if it comes to getting hurt: we all are in some way afraid to get hurt (again) so it's good to know yourself, to make plans for your own future, to go on with your life and not just sit there and wait till he is back. Work, go out with your friends, be someone! Since the good news is you will always be there for you.

Hi tess I'm happy to know that you were able to move on from your past. That's really good. Forget your past and learn from it. The present is much important than the past. What ever heartaches you've been through before just forget it and move on. Always think positive for it really helps a lot. :D

We always make some risk in committing ourselves to anyone. We can only hope that we can be able to overcome any problem that comes and also learn to become a better person for our special someone.

That's good to hear . Age gap , nationality are no problems if love is there surrounding you. Make sure you keep contact with him regularly because it helps in long distance relationship
