Down the street from us our friends had a house. There was always weird things going on in their home. Toys going off, the sound of kids foot steps when all the kids where asleep. Giggles too when the kids where asleep that sounded like a little girl. I myself thought I saw a little girl sitting on the steps one day, I saw her through the cut glass window and I thought it was their youngest who was about two at the time. When I asked where she was my friend said she was still asleep (it was about 7 am) and asked why, I told her I though she had been sitting on the steps. Well As many know we where flooded a little over a year ago. Though we came home our friends home had a sink hole and they could not rebuild. They are waiting for FEMA to finish the buyout process so the house can be ripped down. Needless to say the house is gutted and empty. Well today I saw the police down at the house and walked over to see if everything was OK. They told us that a neighbor had thought they had seen and herd a little girl crying and had called them to check it out. Well no one has been inside for over two months. I called my friend and she came over with the keys and let the cops in the house. There was no one in the house, no sign of entry by anyone, no foot prints in any place one could get in the house but in the middle of the living room was a ring of footprints from a child that looked like someone had been dancing in the room..... so creepy! My friends are freaked I told them to call T.A.P.S, or something but they won't.. wish they would before it's ripped down though.

They didn't used to be but I can see how having a show and money would change people...it always does.

There are really a lot of unexplainable things that happen in houses of people. Well, our house has not been spared. Even the house were I grew up, there are some "incident" but, we just shrug it off.

I don't know if i believe in the paranormal or not. I was t a farm in the country that has a graveyard where civil war soldiers are buried. Well i was told this place is haunted. Also the guy who owns the farm his mothers house they also say is haunted with her ghost. Now iv'e never seen the house as haunted or anything, but while i was walking the trail at the farm i heard footsteps behind me and a rock hit my foot and i was alone. The only thing about the house was i thought i saw someone on the porch when the house is empty. so believe in ghosts i don't know but this did freak me out.

It's awkward not even trusting your own perspective. I didn't believe anything I saw when I was little, as a twenty something I thought it was just me and my girlfriends imagination running wild as little girls. Then one day my sister (quite a bit younger) was telling me she felt that way about things her and her friend saw when they where little in the same place. Thing was they saw the same things. Now 20 years later my own daughter came to me telling me she saw exactly what we saw as kids. I have re thought my old perspectives. This is a different hing then what I wrote about in this post.

The unknown is difficult to explain through our naked eyes. I do believe that they are still not at peace, the souls of a loved ones are still earth bound. Some people used to offer prayers for them, so that their soul will be in purgatory.

Yes I wonder sometimes if we as humans have lost something be it belief or an ability.

There are really a lot of unexplainable things happening around us. I sometimes would think if I should believe them or not. I wasn't that of a believer when friends could be talking about stories such as this. But I have had my own experiences with the unexplained.
