My internet connection is very slow

It has been 5 days that passed that my internet connection is so slow. I could not wait my connection to become stable. I went to my brother's house and asked that I could use their connection. He allowed me. So I was able to make some responses and checked my email. While doing it my brother told me that my laptop needs cleaning. So I left my laptop for him to clean it up. I borrowed my daughter's mac in order to see if our connection is already good. But just the same it's slow but I still can start a discussion.

Yes, it's my connection. However, it's good that it happened because my brother offered me to clean it. When I went home he installed something that could clean my computer and he told me that there are lots of viruses on it. So that is why, I decided to leave the laptop with him. I'll be taking it back tomorrow afternoon.

I just took my laptop from my brother. It's already cleaned up and I guess it's free of viruses. I took it though my brother is still not home because my sister-in-law told me that it's already in good condition. My niece said that there were almost 10,000 viruses, malwares, etc. that were being cleaned.

Have you called your provider yet? They can come out and test the line. You pay a lot for high speed internet so you should have quality service. In my experience sometimes they can fix things over the phone by testing your router and other times they might have to send someone out. I was experiencing a similar problem about a year ago and it turned out that the connection outside had been damaged during a storm and was not working properly.

I think there is something wrong with your model or DSL that is why your internet connection is so slow. That is according to my knowledge. Maybe it depends of what model or DSL you have.

I feel irritated when my net connection is slow whenever I work on BSNL net then disconnect again and again and feel irritated. But when use Reliance I feel happy even not fast like BSNL but not disconnect again and again.

Have you had that problem with your pc speed before? Id start by cleaning your cache and cookies from your pc. This sometimes can really help the speed. Also you can defrag your pc, which frees up space. Give these things a try. Hope it helps for you. Have a great day there.

A few days back i had the same problem. My internet connection was so slow that i could not even check my mails. I got irritated and gave my laptop for formatting. After that my issue got solved. Now my internet connection is much better. Sometimes due to virus problem also the net connection becomes slow and we keep on blaming the network operator.

Well, I have been using a wireless USB dongle based Internet connection since last 6 months or so.
It has not been very good. It has speed issues, and even gets disconnected at times.
We need to change it, with a better product.

Yes my connection was slow as well. Now it seems better as a lot of people are not on and they have fixed a few things as I called them. So you can always try to call and see what happens. Here is seems there are peaks when everyone gets home they go online, Good Luck with internet. Have a good day.

at my end here, i do also experienced the same. often times, we are incurring slow internet connection. as a result, our task got slower sometimes since our signal was disconnected. good thing the signal resumes after sometime.

This is so annoying when our internet connection is so slow especially when we have something very important to do over the internet. My internet is fastest only when during 12 AM until in the morning. When afternoon up until in the evening, it is so sluggish that I can't browse videos in Youtube or downloading something takes up so long.

the problem is with your connection/company.
My internet has been slow the past few days due to the hurricane that hit. I thought at first my computer got a virus, but then I realized that my tablet was slow too. I called my company and they said that this was due to the high winds. If you you happen to live in the north east where sandy hit, then this is probably the same case for you!

I have been trouble like you two month ago. I didn't know what happen in my computer and my internet connection. After I ask to my friend, They suggest to reformatting my data disk. Try to install new system . And Thanks God, it come back. I can surf online again , no problem with my connection any more
