For The Holidays

Hello :) Your cookies sound yummy, I can almost feel the chocolate chips melting in my mouth already :D I don't know how to make cookies, so I usually just buy them from shops. About two weeks before Christmas, all the shops and supermarkets will start selling all the cakes, biscuits and cookies we want. I also have some friends who are private caterers and sell home-made cookies, and I prefer to buy theirs. There's all kinds, but I especially love the apple or pineapple tarts, raisin cookies, and butter cookies with chocolate chips in them.

I used to bake HUGE baskets or trays of baked goods for my family gifts. THey'd be for the parents of the family and then I'd only buy a gift for the kids. I made probably 10 different kinds of cookies (specifically a favorite for each person ) and 3-4 kinds of breads or muffins and even brittle or candied grapefruit peel..it was an amazing gift if I do say so myself. Had time finding something big enough to hold it all, but I usually found something. My 2 brothers LOVED this..their respective wives...hated this gift as neither of them baked at all or well and they were very jealous (how stupid was that of them?!?! But my health caused me to have to stop doing it about 10years ago. But I still choose favorites to bake and Christmas time. Ones that "it isn't Christmas without....." favorites. But nothing like I used to. My kids are grown and gone and my husband hates anything I cook/bake so when I bake....it is for just me and I know if it is there, I will eat it so I ahve to just stop and not bake so I don't get big as the side of a barn! But it is fun and I am thinking of how to cut my favorite recipes into at least half...like a dozen or so cookies instead of 4 dozen per batch..and make one each week.

i like to eat cookie but i don't know how to make it. I haven't baked coolies at all. But i think i will learn it and do it one day... It is nice when you can made cookie for your family.

I love to bake anytime here. But I really bale at xmas time. I even have a few friends who have me bake cookies and cakes for their parties as well. its an easy way to make an extra dollar or 2 here. Im going to make sugar xmas tree cookies here monday to sell in my internet cafe. have a great day there.

In holiday time, I prefer to make chocolate cake with my best friend. Some times my parents will join with us to create banana's cake. That's very happy time. After we finish our experiment to create chocolate cake, we go to in yard and make little party to enjoy our holiday time

My dad has this recipe for carrot cake cookies!!!' Best thing in the world in pretty sure!! Don't know the recipe but may be able to get it.

Sounds so tasty and delicious. You are certainly very good in baking cookies. I am not good at that at all. I wish I were. But, I like cookies. all kinds of cookies very much.
