Women Cheat More

I never cheated on my ex-wife, but I am pretty sure she cheated on me. When I was younger the closest I came to cheating on a girlfriend was one who I had been dating but we never said it was exclusive. We were living in different towns and still in college and I met someone new. I hadn't even kissed the new girl but I told the old one that I had met someone new and we stopped seeing each other. I then did date the new girl for close to a year. Now that doesn't mean I haven't been party too some close to cheating. There were a few times when I was with women who were separated at the time and they did eventually carry that out and not get back together with the guy they were separated from and I'm positive that was not because of me. I don't know if most people would consider that cheating or not. I was young then which is no excuse but I can also say that I did not cause a break up or keep them from getting back together.

Amen, you said that right. i know more men here that cheat than woman do.

I tricked four time at all of my life. Two times by woman, two times by man. Because of this, My answer is same amount of cheat. But I believe that women have more capability of saying lie. :))

true women usually cheat with men. but those men might not be involved in a relationship. so the women in that case is the only one cheating. now when it comes to who cheats more you can't give a precise answer. in my opinion there are more frequent the cases of men cheating. women are more emotional

I think that when statistics like this are brought up, they're looking at relationships and in a relationship, a woman is more likely to cheat than the man. Even though they cheat with a man, not all of the men that women cheat with are in another relationship. I kind of think that both men and women cheat just as much and are just as likely to cheat.

Wow who said that women cheat more? I find that hard to believe too...like you said it takes two so why aren't they counting the men that are cheating with the cheating women? LOL

I don't think women cheat more than men. As far as my opinion is concerned they are the same in magnitude. If there are women who cheat their husband or boyfriend. They're also men that cheat their wife or girlfriend... I don't know the real reason why they cheat?

Um... it depends. In western moral relativism, fewer and fewer guys are getting married, and people are sleeping with more and more people. As a result in specific countries, where women tend to still marry, they also cheat, but they do so with guys who are choosing to not marry. So a married women sleeps with an unmarried man, she's cheating, and he is not. It's a sick way of looking at it, because in theory he is being more moral because he's not technically cheating on a wife. I find that to be disgusting myself, because sleeping around with people you are not married to, to me is more abusive and selfish, than getting married. Nevertheless, the claim works if you believe that sleeping around unmarried is ok (disgusting), but cheating... well that's bad. (both are equally horrible in my mind).

It's too presumptuous to make such a general statement. I think the correct thing to say is that more women are cheating now. Previously, there seems to be more men cheating but now with women going out to work and having financial means, more women are cheating too.

well this is just my thought ..the women cheat because the man ask first..so the man had the cheating on their mind and the woman accepted. I think men cheat first. but however it could go both ways...the world has changed and both are at fault...

I don't think so. hahaha. I beg to disagree with that statement. For all I see is I encounter more men are attracted to girls and their tendencies to cheat are bigger than of girls. Women just cheat when she felts she's being cheated by her partner as well.

I'm afraid you see it wrong. What if 2 or more women cheat their husbands with one and thesame man? 5 cheating women, 1 (maybe also) cheating man. There was research and I read theresults. And it's true; there are more women that cheat then men. By some myths however men get the blame. But it's NOT true.

No. If men with whom women cheat are single then it's not the same amount of men and women that cheat. If there is a stronger tendency to be single among men in comparison to women then it's true that women cheat more.

I didn't make that kind of research before but I believe that the quantity of cheating depends on personality, none of the gender's business. u can only counts the cheating intention by his or her disposition, if u can find that this person likes cheating only by the first time u met him/her, then I can say u r a magical person. Some of women will cheat and so does men. If u really want to say is that man or woman, that's just a kind of discrimination.

I think this is mind boggling, lol! As I thought this was the other way around, lol! But honestly, regardless of the gender, it all depends on the person, and the numbers would be misleading as to who's more or less, lol! To answer it for me would be bias, lol! so i pass on this one...

Well in my opinion, this is true to me, in another sense. Though i do not cheat on my husband in the fidelity aspect, i do cheat him sometimes, when i am asked as to how much does my new shoes, bag and blouse costs when i shopped. I would always lower the prices so he won't tell me that i am overspending.

I think it is not supposed to be in general statement. It happens vis-a-vis with so many factors, either internal or external. But it really does happen.

I can't absolutely agree with the statement because as a general observation, men cheats more than women. I would rather agree that there are the same number of men and women who cheats.

People who become bored or emotionally dissatisfied will often start shopping around subconsciously.
