Well, I feel nothing. Ha ha ha
It is because they were not real. They were only fantasy made by people who have wide imagination that don't apply in a real world. In a love story, it always end happily every after but in real life, there is no such thing as happily ever after... wa ha ha ha ha
I see them as a product of make believe story. They are what we called fiction that would never ever apply in a real world.

Yes, IntrovertShy, But don't forget, in a very tough, harsh, and difficult world, we need to live in fantasy for a few moments in our lives whether it be movies or books. No person can take harsh reality twelve to twenty-four hours every day. When a couple views a love story together, it helps to keep them together. He should spend a couple of hours watching a love story with his lady, then the man can go watch his sports and be happy.

It's usually the kids who would giggle when watching love scenes in the movies and they would whistle too. The adults would just look away or pretend that the scene is not showing on the screen. I myself feel quite uncomfortable watching love scenes with others in the same room.

It is hard to find a movie without love stories. Whatever may be the topic or theme of the story there must be a ‘love’ episode in the movie (that is what I felt watching so many movies in my native language). But to be very honest, I appreciate if the love is real and sincere and I feel good to watch it. I remember in one movie, there was strong love in between hero and heroine, but there was a hidden love in between other two people, I enjoyed that kind of love which was more sincere and deepen too. I hate to watch people get in love for time passing or for any personal gains even in stories.

I love to watch love stories. They take the stress out of me because I get involved in the stories even when the plot whose end is something that we can predict from the beginning. I even have my own favorites that I watch again and again, such as Pretty woman.

Hi! For me it would depend on how the story is written and of course, what mood I am in. If I am in the mood for something light-hearted, I'd choose When Harry Met Sally or Arsenic and Old Lace, whereas if I wanted something more intense, probably one of my epic films. If I watch something light-hearted and I'm in a more dramatic mood, I have the feeling I'll miss the whole idea and not appreciate it as it was meant to be.
Do you feel the same way?

I love to watch love stories really. Every time there are new movies launched, my friends and I are so very excited to watch for those movies. If we are watching, we act as if we are the actress on that movie. We also felt the feeling of the stars. It felt great that at least once we also escape into reality and live for some time in fantasy of love and romance.

Sometimes I feel pangs of jealousy, but natural jealousy, other times I just glaze over and it doesn't touch me emotionally. It's not that often that I will watch a love story, that's not really my type of genre I like to watch. I much prefer to watch sci-fi films, fantasy and horror. Although I have to admit my two favourite love stories is between Jack and Rose in The Titanic and between Padme and Anakin in Star Wars, now those I can watch over and over again!

I don't like love stories... They make me emotional.. Moreover, they remind me of what I've lost... I avoid watching them...
I like comedy movies... They make me laugh and feel healthy... Or action movies, they make me exercise... Or spy movies- like sherlock holmes... They make my brain work... Love stories do nothing, but get me depressed... :-(

I like watching love stories, it helps keep our hearts healthy to know that love can exist wherever we look for it. I'm not a fan of sappy romantic movies because I think they embellish a lot of the story so that you will start to compare your love life to the one you are reading. Still, its nice to escape into somebody's love story so you can feel good about love.

I have a very low opinion of today's movies. I don't see love in the romantic movies, I see lust. The movies of yesteryear are much more romantic and leave one with a warmer and more tinder feeling.

So true, I love watching love stories. Especially the feel good ones. Sometimes I even find myself smiling while watching. That's how engrossed I'm in watching. :)
