I am a kindle reader and for those of you that has a kindle or other nook or any of the other ones out there I was wondering since you got your device do you read more on it or paper books or do you do both equally? Right now for me since getting my kindle from my mom I have been doing more reading on it than paper books. I guess the reason for that is it don't go by page it goes by percentage and I find it being able to read faster on the kindle I am not sure what others think on this.

Love my Kindle. I really like the idea of carrying a whole library of books on one small, compact device and having a book delivered within seconds of ordering it. Paper books now seem really cumbersome.

I have a Kindle Touch and I also have a Galaxy Tab 2 with a Kindle app, so I am able to sync my books. I also have an entire wall of bookcases with paper books, most of which I plan to sell, which will free up a whole LOTTA space.

My mom just got an Apple i-pad so she said she will give me her Kindle fire I believe is the one she has now since she can read books on her i-pad. I have 3 boxes of books up north in storage I have not been able to get them down here yet but when I do I will be selling them along with some of the other books I have bought since moving.

I am like you I like having all my books all together in one device. There are a few books paper I need to get to complete some of my sets so that I can sell them.I might be getting my moms kindle fire and if I do I am giving my daughter the one I am reading from now. I really think she will like it.

My roomie's mom likes her kindle, because she can increase the size of the letters. I like the portability of a paper book - I wouldn't want it to get wet, but a paper book can more easily be replaced than an electronic one.

That is also one of the reasons I like mine as well because I can increase my font size.I like paper books as well but when I put them in my purse to take with me anywhere it gets crinkled in the corners and I can't have that if I am going to sell them.

Well, I don't have a Kindle and don't plan on buying one. I am planning on getting me an iPad. That said, I currently am reading one book on my computer and one in real time. Most books that I currently own are actual books and most of them are Stephen King books. But there is a library that just opened by me and I plan on going. And I am going to find out if I can also get some on my iPad when I get one.

I know my library does do books on i-pad I think pretty much most of them do.I have a few paper books I need to purchase just waiting on my gift card to get here from another site I cashed out with. I emailed them about it and got no response about it yet if I don't by Monday I will be emailing them again.

I do like the real deal when it comes to books. But I also like the idea of the electronic book. Less clutter. I have tons of books and most of them are Stephen King books. I also have some books about KISS and FORD. And I also have some books all about 9/11. Most of what I own right now I will probably keep. I do have some I would like to donate to the library. I hope they open the branch around the corner from me soon.

I really prefer paper books for two reasons: First, my head and eyes hurt a lot when I read an e-book. Second, I prefer to feel the pages and the weight of the book in my hands. It kind of makes me sad that books are starting to disappear and turning into e-books :(

Sorry to hear that your head and eyes hurt when you read an e-book. I think it is sad that books are starting to disappear off the shelves also.

I love my Kindle and it has revolutionised my reading. I have never heard anything but praise from a Kindle owner. I get such a variety of books and many are on special offer. I was never good at wandering around a bookshop, I never trusted the covers, but with Kindle you can have a short read before you order and no one is looking over your shoulder making you feel guilty about it.

I used to be against ebook readers. But then I got one as a gift and obviously started useing it. I must say I love it and have got really used to it. I am actually noticing that I seem to be readin g more now. Besides I can actually have a large library inside it, without having to spend much money or worry about where to store all the books. The percentage and page number helps a lot too.

Well, I also use Kindle to read novels but I read books on paper backs most often and that is what i really love. having the thrill in turning those pages one by one especially when the story is at it's climax is simply fun and exciting.

I prefer reading paperback because my eyes hurt when I stayed too long in an electronic device. I love to read e-books as you can get them free in the internet but I'm having second thought if I will buy kindle as I hear nice opinions about this product.

I like the kindle never thought I would but I do. I miss holding a paper book so I am going to be getting me a couple here soon. I wish I could find some sites to get some free books for my kindle besides amazon.

Kindle or any other electronic device will replace paper books in the future. It is great to carry a lot of books in a small device, and if we talk about being "green", this is a great invention to "save some trees". I am an old fashion person who liked to read paper books a lot, but we must recognize that things have changed and this inventions are a contribution for a healthy planet. Evolution is for today lives.
