Try to cherish what we have

It is well said that we should cherish what we have. If all of us could be like this, then there would be much less pain in our life. But in reality, there are so many us who do not cherish what they have. Once they lose it, they feel regretful. To avoid feeling regretful, I will always try to cherish what I have. Thank you so much for the nice discussion.

I always try to accept any thing that I have already. If I have a good lover right now, I will keep it forever, cause I think, not easy to find some body that can we trust. But sometimes, first love with first sight can create romantic love forever. That 's what I call the power of love

I dont agree because my best friend is the one I love . I grow to love him, I think that is the best love , a person that know you inside out . Your dreams , your plans , your traits , your history , your soul, more than a stranger that is likely just lust . True love is not what meet the eyes alone but whats beneath . True love is build , and friendship is the best foundation, those love can last many lifetime .

I agree! People should learn to cherish and treasure the things that they have in life. Because who knows, someday you might lose it. :)

But I think sometimes it will have some exceptions.Do you have ever hear about the "Beauty at second sight"?Sometimes when you meet a girl you will not love her because you do not think that she is beautiful,but after a few days get along with,you will find out that she is a beauty and you will fall in love with her gradually.

Some people would tend to be looking for someone who is not there and would just look pass through the person who is just in front of them. I think that people would learn to appreciate more the people that offers them the real person that they are and not change them for whatever reasons. It may not be long enough till we realize that they might be gone in a while...for good.

I don't know what it's like to fall in love at first sight. In my relationships I have always tried to combine physical attraction with interests and likes we have in common, plus men's ability to provide financial security for their women and kids. Reason and common sense are very important when choosing a long-term partner. Anyways, it's better to have a passionate and emotional relationship instead of a boring one, based only on rationality. Chemistry and the feeling of butterflies in the stomach are very important to spice up our tedious life.

I don't think falling in love on the first sight is different as loving someone for real. There are plenty of people in this world who do love someone for real, never loved at the first sight (love grows) and are suffering for years because of this lost love! This all has nothing to do with the world being unexpected but with human being who can or is. Which is a difference. Also there is no need to try to love someone if you are not able to. Love is a feeling, there has to be a reason to love someone, love can not be forced. Way better is it to respect someone for who he/she is. This is (according to me) the best gift you can give someone. Respect plus a helping hand if wanted. And if it comes to cherishing... you can only cherish something if you are aware of it.

Yes, you are quite right. What we should do is to cherish what we have, but not to complain what we don't have. And then, we will feel good and happy.

i agree with you. we should cherish our precious treasures like the ability to love, to give, to feel for each other. please, continue loving even if love seems so cold to you.

yes, we just need to appreciate what we have nowdays, its not so easy to find a man that truly love in today. i will appreciate him, never let him go. i just know him a few month, hopefully our relation will lasting forever
