My Wallet is Overflowing With Money!

Lucky you. I work in the government and we don't have 13th month pay or bonus, just the usual paycheck we receive every 15th and 30th of the month. I am usually broke every Christmas. :(

Oh that was really so early, can I have some so it won't overflow lol. Well here in the office, still no sign of date where our 13month will be given.No hint at all, well at least its still intact as of the moment.

Wow, good for you! Our 13th month pay is usually given to us on the last working day of the year. Too bad, we can't use it for Christmas but it's good we have money to spend in celebrating New Year. Merry Christmas in advance. You need to start shopping for Christmas already. :)

I have been a bad man back in my day and I was involved in very lucrative things. I don't know if you realize it but when you cash a large check at the bank they put bands around the 100 dollar bills. They do this around every 20 so each band of 100's is $2,000. For a long while I walked around (without money concerns of course) but more to your topic with a wallet that wouldn't close. I would keep one band of $100's ($2,000) as is and probably kept about 1,200-1,600 hundred in hundred dollar bills loose. I found that my wallet was so full that I couldn't keep 5's or 10's in any way unless I stuffed then in my front pocket of something. I mostly tried to keep the lower denomination bills used instead of having to wallet store them. I would buy a drink or pack of smokes (back when I smoked, no more) or a snack. If all else failed I would top off the gas tank in my truck. It really felt good to have money like that but most of what I did to earn it was on a moral line in not sometimes a legal one although I mostly kept on the right side of the law. Now I am leading a much different kind of life. I wish I could say that I was happily married with at least one or two wonderful children but I can't. I can say that (Pardon the Religion interjection, some people don't like it) The Lord has shown me where my way of selfish living was leading me. I didn't like what I saw. I also took time to think back over my memories; I used to have quite a few that I used to think of in my mind to take me to where I call my "Happy Place". I am having a problem finding any good memories anymore, only regrets. I decided that although retired from that other type of life I described to you earlier that while being a money maker lifestyle it was hard on my conscience. I am sorry for changing your topic so much. I am so very impressed that there is still someone like you out there that can be happy in their life with their legitimate work and also seem to be doing well financially. Your post just brought up some feeling that I have been dealing with but I can at least say in my defense that I have been taking steps to make my life the kind that I approve of and one that I think happiness will come along; hopefully not immense wealth but at least a life without worry of being constantly broke. My changes have brought me some positive results and I have had a little money to work with even if my wallet wasn't overflowing like yours. I am happy that people can still be profitable while being moral and legal. I have always been the type of person to work everyday at a regular job and I am proud when I see other people doing well while doing the right things in life. Thank you for your post. It distracted me from something that I thought was important but I think that the memories and feelings that you post caused me to think of and think about outweigh my other forgotten thing to do.

Christmas has come early for you, congratulations! It is always a good feeling when your wallet is overflowing. Much better than if your wallet is empty! You are very lucky to be able to receive a 13th month bonus.

Wow, that's nice. Ours will be given on December before the 25th, lol. Just like the previous years. I know there are lots of companies like the government who are giving bonuses mid year and on November. I hope our company is like that too. We are receiving our 13th month pay before our December 15th pay day and if we are luckier, our 14th month bonus on January next year.

Wow, early payout on Mylot and early 13th month pay. That must be like what we call year end bonuses. Good deal, you get to spend it before Christmas.

Very good for you my friend, I like your attitude cause if we claim it then most likely we will get it, don't just say "my wallet" rather say my "cabinet, my vault, bank or under my bed or what ever will be over flowing with money!" LOL! you will also get lucky with the bracelet ( from another discussion)

Oh whoa! I haven't thought of that 13th month pay of mine! I wonder when will it be given to us already? However, I just changed companies so I already got a portion of my would be 13th month pay and will be receiving less pro rated to how many months I am already working in my current company. I hope we do get other sort of bonuses as well. Well, I sure hope that my wallet is overflowing with money right now!

Good to know that you alrealdy received your most awaited money for the year. i'm so envious now, will be receiving ours, sometime late this month. Hopefully, no hindrances that will come on it's way..haha. For sure, my wallet will be overflowing with money. Oh, I dream of that to happen with my wallet. That it would be bulky enough that it can't be closed. hahaha. I don't work so I'm expecting of any bonus, hubby doesn't receives bonus as well. But, I'm not bitter for not getting bonus co's we or hubby rather work for a good cause and I know that our labor in the will never be in vain. Enjoy your the fruit of your work! God bless! Too soon to say Mary Christmas everyone but anyhow thanks so much! I think that you make money very easily but for others it will not be easy, including me. I am unemployed person and my wallet often is empty. But I am trying to study more and finding a stable job to do.

Hi you are lucky to be working under government offices because government office really received early bonuses and 13th month pay. You can really Christmas shop early. You don't need to hurry on choosing which item to buy for the Christmas holiday. But me working on private company, we can get our bonus and 13th month pay on 30th day of December. You just imagine going on mall, Christmas shop on that day. How could i wish i can get a nice job on government office.

Aries, you are lucky to be able to receive your bonuses at such an early time. As for we here, we will only receive our bonus on the last day of December. Now, we are looking forward for the bonus time to reach, so we can use it for new year celebration. Hope you budget well your expenses and not overspend your money.
